Detailed guide to the Secret of the Cyclops quest and the battle with the Enraged Boss Polyphemus

Once the game starts and after the opening battle, head east towards the temple and the edge of the cliff. Once there, you will proceed to collect ambrosia. To do this, go to the edge of the cliff and turn right to the statue with prominent outstretched arms. Go through the stream and get to the statue's hand. When you get to her palm, you can collect ambrosia and perform upgrades to improve your health bar. The next quest in the mission is to go to Siren Island.

Go to Siren Island

Once you've got the ambrosia, head back to the puffy face temple and let it take you to the pillared structure. From here you will fight your way to get the Sword of Envy. You have to fight and defeat three enemies. The game will provide hints on how to use parry against enemies, but parry is most effective against an enemy with a shield. When you parry with him, he dodges him for a moment, giving you time to open the chest so Envy can find the Sword of Envy. The sword has a 22% chance to triple damage during an air combo with the sword.

Complete the "Get the Sirens' Song" quest

After collecting the sword, move east, sliding towards the beach. After landing, you will receive a notification for the "Get the Sirens' Song" task. Keep going up the stairs until you reach a wall. Climbing up you will come across blue mushrooms, collect them as you can turn them into a stamina potion later in the game. Above the wall is a golden statue with Ambrosia in the palm of your hand. Like we did before, go up the ranks and grab the piece of Ambrosia.

Continue up the stairs and you will come across a pool of water. Here you will again have to fight the enemies. Defeat enemies and collect the items they drop. To the east, look for a falling golden wall. Hit the wall with the ax and it should fall, allowing you to step inside. Once inside, take the grenades. Later, they can be exchanged for health potions.

You should see the disk next to the golden statue of the goddess standing on the disk. Shoot an arrow at the target through the grate. A door will open to the right. Go through the door and get the Golden Amber. With golden amber, you can improve your ability to create potions.

Keep going up and you will be given a Stealth Attack guide. After you complete the tutorial and the enemies are defeated, you can unlock the cheat that has the Dark Glow Mask and the Dark Plate. Darkglow Mask increases defense by 20% and Darkglow Plate increases health by one.

Now return to the top of the stairs and turn south. You will see a wall, climb it and come across a Yellow Adamantine Shard. Once this is collected, jump out the window and fly south to the highest point on the island. You will find a blue adamantine shard in the location. In Immortals Fenyx Rising, there are four types of Adamantine Shards (yellow, blue, purple and red) that you use to upgrade weapons in the game.

Now return to the Isle of the Sirens, planning north. From here turn a little to the right from Plate Epic Chest and Darkglare Mask. Go down the path to the edge of the cliff. Pull the big lever and slide to the southeast island. When you land at the foot of the statue, you will find a chest. Open it to find the Blight, an ax that deals +45% damage to stunned enemies.

Similar to the lever you pulled earlier, there is another one on this island, pull it and you will be taken back to Siren Island. Follow the path you spawn and before you get to the big structure there is a path on the right, follow the path and there is a small cliff at the end. After climbing the rock, you will find some purple adamantine shards. After collecting the fragments, follow the path and head to the highest point of the island. You will be able to see the big status, slide to the point where you turned right and you will be able to find some more ambrosia.

Constellation puzzle

Climb the stairs until you meet a deer. Deal with the Rooster he transforms into and you'll see a golden platform with 16 holes. Solve the riddle. You will see 16 holes on the ground and 3 blue balls on the front wall. There is also an answer key on the wall. Align the blue orbs on the wall by placing them on the ground. When you place the correct orb on the ground, the corresponding constellation or orb on the wall will light up.

You currently only have 3 balls, but it takes 5 balls to complete the puzzle. You need to find 2 other orbs to complete the Constellation Challenge puzzle in Immortals Fenyx Rising. Head north or right to find more orbs.

Find the missing ball 1

Go to the right or north of the puzzle, go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs you will see a square golden metal box, take the box and place it on the switch on the ground. A red force field will fall right in front of you. Go inside and there is another metal box, take it. You need to throw the metal box into the hole in the wall on the left, except for the blue flags. Go to another room through the niche on the right and there you will find the next ball. Take the orb and return to the puzzle. Place the ball in the right place and find the last missing ball.

Find the missing ball 2

This time go to the left of the puzzle up the stairs. You will have to fight and defeat some enemies. Once you take care of the enemies, you will notice two switches - one has a perk and the other has an anvil. There are also two metal boxes - one with a bear and the other with an eye. Place the bear box on the anvil switch and the peephole on the function switch. Again, a red force field will drop at the entrance and you can get the 5th orb.

Take the orb and return to the puzzle. Place the orb in the correct spot and the Constellation Challenge will be solved. The lyre will open and you will receive the Song of the Sirens. Once the puzzle is solved, we will collect some grenades and Dread Wings and then continue the quest. Return to the place where you found the second missing orb and go up the stairs. You will find enemies, fight them and collect grenades from the baskets near the statue. From Siren's Song head west and you'll see two red harpies in the sky above the platform. Kill them and open the chest to find the Wings of Terror.

Return to Cyclops Island

Move west from the Epic Chest and head towards the tower where you found the Sword of Envy. Go down to the floor below where you found the sword. There are some yellow adamantine shards in this location, collect them and now we will move on to the Myth Challenge Odysseus from the map.

There is a golden ruin in the southwest corner of the beach, go there and go up to the second floor to find the grenades. Search the ground for a bow and disk of arrows, stand on the disk. Now face north and you should shoot the Arrow of Apollo through the 15 rings of the ax handle. You can direct the arrow like a drone to pass through each ring on the golden ax head. Complete the task and at the end the brazier will light up. And the chest will open.

Now follow the path of the arrows and defeat the enemies that come your way. Approach the chest that the arrows opened earlier and you will find an Infestation. This is a bow with 22.5% damage from charged shots. Climb up the hill along the path and you'll come across Circe's Cauldron. On the game map, it looks like a vile purple potion. With the help of the Cauldron, you can turn the items you have collected during the quest into potions. You can also exchange the golden amber you have collected for potion upgrades. Here are the potions you can make.

  • Potion of Attack - You need 6 Olympian Figs to make a potion. The effect is that it increases attack by 40% for 90 seconds, and also restores 5% of health on hit.
  • Protection Potion - You need 6 flower nectar to make a potion. The effect is that it increases defense by 40% for 90 seconds and also deals 200 damage to attacking enemies.
  • Health Potion - You need 5 grenades to make a health potion. The effect is that it restores 6 blocks of health.
  • Stamina Potion - You need 5 blue mushrooms to make a potion. The effect is that it restores 3 pieces of stamina.

After you're done with the cauldron, continue up the path. Jump over obstacles and use the updraft to glide. You will find blue mushrooms along the way, collect them when you see them. Wandering around the island, you will come across a waterfall and a root-branch next to it. Look behind the waterfall to find a cave where you can collect Purple Adamantine Shards.

We have not yet finished collecting items that can then be used for improvements. From the cave, head south. Pick up and follow the Blue Mushrooms up the cliff to the giant mushroom platforms. Continue moving in the indicated direction until you come across a sitting statue of a metal man with grenades on both palms. Collect the resource and return to Circe's Cauldron.

Once in Talos, head northwest and follow the root branch and the path marked with blue mushrooms. If you continue along the trail, you will bypass the rest of the island and climb to the top. By following the path marked with blue mushrooms, you will have a lot of mushrooms and avoid using stamina potions. Follow the path and get to the highest point of the island where you will see two trees. One of them has ambrosia.

Free Polyphemus from Circe's curse

From here you need to go to the starting point of the whole quest, the place where the Cyclops Polyphemus is frozen. When you reach the point, the game will interrupt the cutscene. Immediately after the cutscene, there is a boss fight. Here are tips on how to defeat Polyphemus the Enraged.

How to defeat Polyphemus the Enraged in Immortals Fenyx Rising

All the gear and potions you've collected so far will now come in handy. This is how you can defeat Polyphemus the Enraged and complete the Secret of the Cyclops quest. The main weapon you need to use for the fight is the Sword of Envy and Fel that we picked up earlier. When you start a fight, throw items you find around like pillar pieces, rocks, etc. as they can do more damage than Fel and Sword.

Polyphemus' main attack is a swing. The first and second hits are normal and can be blocked, but the third attack with a distinct red color cannot be blocked and deals a lot of damage. You need to dodge the third attack and use the time to land a few attacks of your own.

The Sword of Envy does more damage when used as an air strike combo, so jump as high as possible while hitting Polyphemus with the sword. The main strategy you should use when fighting Polyphemus is to stay behind him, dodge his third hit and use the time after the third hit to attack him.
