While Call of Duty Warzone is full of cool cosmetic items that you can add to your weapons and character, some of them are a bit more substantial than others.

If you've seen people with their very own canine companion, here's everything you need to know about how to get a cod dog in Call of Duty: Warzone.

You will only see the dog when you have it in two specific places. The first one is in the lobby menu of the game. While you are walking along with your teammates at the start, your dog will walk alongside you.

Another time you can see it when you kill someone. By holding R3 while you are behind the enemy, your character will make their final move and if you have the right set, they will see your dog attack them.

How to get a dog in Call of Duty Warzone

The first thing you need to do to get a dog is buy a battle pass. The dog's finishing move is one of the unlocks called Top Dog and is unlocked at level 20.

By going to the battle pass tab in the Warzone menu, you can follow the steps below to buy CoD points and redeem them for a battle pass that costs around $10.

Then you need to play this game doing your best by completing contracts and getting kills to level up. As you earn XP, you'll advance through the levels and unlock free Call of Duty: Warzone items, skins, and blueprints that come with them.

Once you reach level 20, you need to go to the operatives tab, select the character you are using and press the triangle if you are on PS4 (Y on Xbox One and press the Customize button on PC) to change some of them options.

Then go to the Finishing Moves tab and click on the top dog to make it your active dog. You will then see a dog walking next to you in the lobby and it will attack your opponent when you try to kill him during the game.
