How can you play alone in Outriders? The new game from the Polish studio People Can Fly, which you may know from Painkiller and Bulletstorm, although it also helped Epic Games with the Gears of War series for many years.
Now the team is creating their own third-person co-op shooter with RPG elements.
How can you play alone in Outriders?
Outriders is heavily focused on three-player cooperative gameplay, but you can't always have three gamer friends interested in this game at the same time.
The game can be played both in single player mode and in cooperative mode with up to three players. But when playing alone, the main thing is to adjust your world level. World levels in Outriders are how the difficulty of the game is decided. This can be upgraded up to 15 different levels. This will make your game extremely difficult, but will also give you rewards like better loot and legendary weapons.
The game allows you to play any part of the game in both solo and co-op whenever you want. You can play with your friends, strangers, and also alone. The only thing going it alone, apart from the world levels, is that you will miss out on enemy skill and ability combinations. In co-op mode, certain skills can be combined to deal additional damage to your enemies. This will be severely limited in single player mode.
Also note that the world level will be automatically raised by default in Outriders. This will hurt you in solo mode, as sometimes you will not have the necessary weapons and equipment for the newly unlocked level. You need to farm multiple times to get the best loot. Therefore, if you encounter difficulties at the world level, you can manually change it in the first item of the main menu. Also from here you can turn off auto-scaling in the gameplay settings.
This is everything you need to know about playing single player in Outriders. If you have something to add feel free to write in the comments below.
