Although some gamers have already begun to use PS5 capabilities, many Sony fans are likely to ask the question when this "Next-Gen" comes.

After the official launch of the PlayStation 5 console, the players moved to a new, ninth generation of games. While Xbox Series X and PS5 users already enjoy all the new features of their consoles (if they managed to order a new PS5 or Xbox via the Internet), some players may wonder what will happen next.

Almost complete confidence can be said that Sony will release the PlayStation 6 console at some point in the future. In the end, the company has a brand on the name PlayStation right up to the PS10, and the lack of selling the PlayStation 5 consoles at the sales start proves how popular the Sony Platform remains even after five iterations. Players wishing to purchase PS6 online (or with the help of any other new communication method, which will appear in the future), most likely, have to wait long, but fortunately, having studied the past releases of Sony PlayStation consoles, you can determine the pattern and the PS6 output times.

When the PS6 is launched from Sony

After examining the release dates of previous PlayStation Consoles from Sony, it can be assumed when the company theoretically can release PS6. The original PlayStation Console was released on December 3, 1994 in Japan, but the English version appeared only in a year. From September to November 1995, PlayStation was released in North America, Europe and Australia.

PlayStation 2 also came out first in Japan, March 4, 2000, and on November 24, 2000 - in North America, Europe and Austria. Continuing this tradition, PlayStation 3 also came out first in Japan on November 11, 2006, and then in North America on November 17 of the same year. Unlike all previous consoles, PlayStation 4 began its release in North America on November 15, 2013 and finished in Japan on February 22, 2014.

This means that between the output of the original PlayStation and PS2 passed six years, between PS2 and PS3 - six years, between PS3 and PS4 - seven years, and now, in 2020, at the dawn of PS5 generation, between it and PS4 - seven years. Although on average, these figures constitute 6.5 years between the outputs of new consoles, it is important to note that as the hardware improves and reducing the differences between game PCs and game consoles, new generations can exist longer than previous ones.

Judging by these figures, it is likely that before the release of PS6 will be held at least for at least seven years. Considering the hardware and graphical update, the ability to correct errors and updates functions through an online connection, as well as a huge amount of research and efforts that will need to promote the game ahead from the level on which it is now, it can take even more time. Players should not expect the appearance of PlayStation 6 at least until 2028 ...And until then, it seems, PlayStation 5 will be in perfect order and may even appear in stores by then.
