Name tags were added to Minecraft in version 1.6, and since then they have become wide demanded by the subject. They allow you to give names to any mob, except Ender Dragons and other players.
Unfortunately, they can not be screaming. This means that players need to be found in other ways in their world of survival. We are here to tell you how to do it.
Where to find names in Minecraft
Currently, there are only three ways to get tags with names in Survival: Created chests created in the world with prey, trade and fishing. Let's start with chests with prey, as they are the most popular.
Chests with prey
In any world, Minecraft has many different chests with prey, but only four of them have a chance to create a name tag. Types of chests with prey and their chance of the appearance of the name tag are listed below.
- Buried treasure (indigenous only): 34.3%
- Dungeon: 28.3%
- Mine shaft: 42.3%
- Forest Mansion: 28.3% (indigenous breeds 27.9%)
Trade
When you sell with a librarian enough, it will reach the level of the librarian master. At this stage, they are ready to exchange a nominal tag on 20 emeralds. The price is cool, but if you really want to give your pig name Monsieur Piggles, it is worth it!
Fishing
You can also catch a nominal tag during fishing! Every time you catch the fish, you have a five percent chance to catch the treasure, and from there you have one sixth probability that this treasure will be a name tag. This means that whenever you catch the fish, the probability of catching the nominal tag is less than one percent. However, you can increase this chance, impoverished on the fishing spell of the sea.
Now that you know where to take registered tags, you will finally call Mr. Pigglesworth!
