Since the game just came out, we cannot claim that we have the recoil required for perfect scoring, it will take days or even weeks for the meta-game to be defined and the high-level optimization is well understood, but here are the elements. based on our experience of beta testing, as well as on the first reviews of testers among others.

The 4 attributes have a common trait to increase your damage, so you are not making a fatal mistake investing in any of them, although at the moment we do not know in detail the formulas that govern the damage bonus. But how can you pay to dump and redistribute them. So there is no reason for concern, you can catch up at any time.

Ferocity: Increases the critical score of attacks and spells - Simple and straightforward, this attribute will be a good main choice for almost any form and class template you choose.

Reliability: Increases Life and Force Shield - once again, this is a great choice of stats, at least as secondary, but potentially also as primary if you want to check out the numerous Steam achievements that reward completing a game or reaching level 90 without dying ... A force shield absorbs a certain amount of damage before surrendering, see it as a damage buffer before your life really begins. This will help you stay on the bosses (but the lack of damage can prolong the fight on the other side).

Agility: Increases attack speed and spell speed - clearly a more offensive choice, which will be brighter with builds that are often asked to attack. If you decide to play a frantic Barbarian or a hunter who shoots in all directions, this is an attribute for you. However, be careful, since using methods faster also means using your resources faster, you will need to strive for the right balance.

Wisdom: Increases attack and spell scores - if it was unclear, this attribute increases the chances of producing harmful or controlling effects on monsters. Bleeding, congestion, frost, poison, dizziness, etc. If you want to play with these effects or damage over time, this is what you need. But if it isn't, this is probably an attribute that you can afford to ignore entirely. However, don't underestimate the power of a well-placed spell or control technique.

The hard question is, obviously, how to assign your precious glasses. And the answer will obviously depend on the type of character you want to build:

  • Unless you plan on betting on crowd control and damage over time, you can ignore wisdom, or at least invest minimal investment in it.
  • It seems wise to invest primarily in ferocity to improve your damage output, and then in a relatively balanced mix of toughness and agility. Of course, you can also bet on heavy attacks and / or cooldowns to focus only on ferocity and reliability.
  • On the other hand, you can play the glass cannon and invest mainly in ferocity and agility, but you will need to choose skills that allow you to dodge enemy attacks and be responsive, on pain of death.
  • Either way, you will need to consider your point allocation in order to choose your talents and skills, or vice versa, choose your attributes based on the skill that hooked you.
