I would not be too strictly judged by this game, because after the failure of the third part of the Stonghold, this game looks quite well.
There is a miniature campaign here, but mostly you will spend time on combat trials that are similar to Stronghold. Excellent kills time due to the fact that fights are tightened for a long time. There is also a good multiplayer.
Gameplay in Stronghold Crusader 2 simple, as in all parts of this series. But personally, with all the compatibility with the recommended requirements, it was completely absent, and the game is unbearably lagged. Well, okay with optimization, the developers simply do not want to change the gameplay, leave it everywhere the same.
A hundred archers on one tower, spears, darts that come to the walls and towers and fall into the goal, although I do not know a single person who could throw a spear for 5-30 meter height. Any Lord, be it a peace-loving Shah or a mighty wolf, fights equally strongly. Personally, I do not understand how one person is able to withstand so much damage, in some cases you can even send it with the army at the beginning of the game to finish the game quickly.
Archers, like a speaker, are able to shoot with minimal interference people located at 5-30 meters altitude, how so? Any terrestrial unit is able to break the Great Tower, only give him time, and if you consider it the norm, then try to hit the stone with a battle or sword to realize your wrong.
II simply does not want to cover their facilities with stone walls, he simply leaves them behind the lock, which is of course beautiful, but not practical, for you can always set fire to the farm and sawmills, sending slaves with the supervisor, but the computer does not understand that 10-15 archers On the tower is not enough to reflect the onslaught of 40 swords, because of this, the combat tests are monotonous.
There are also a bunch of different flaws that could be corrected. The choice of faction is very meaningless, as Arab you or a crusader, you still have the opportunity to hire and the Arab mercenaries and units of the Crusaders, although as for me it is not very believable.
The plot is only at the beginning, as in other parts of this sequel. Graphics are better than in the first part of the game. In general, the Firefly did not leave anywhere, moreover, they made crusader worse, and a slightly improved schedule does not compensate. Many details were trimmed, it is not clear why, they made this game more similar to the usual Stonghold, which removed the uniqueness of the Crusaders.
