The Devil's Mythic Path is one of the weirdest and most difficult to obtain in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

This is due to the fact that there are many ways to ruin your life without noticing it. Anyway, here's our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous guide to help you unlock the mythical path of the Devil, as well as deal with Melissa and Early Sunset.

Note: For more information, check out our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous guides. Alternatively, you can take a look at our ultimate guide to all the Mythical Paths of the game. Finally, as a reminder, this guide contains minor spoilers.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous How to Unlock the Devil's Mythic Path

To clarify the situation, the mythical path of the devil in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is unique in that to obtain it, you must first select Eon or Azatha. You can do this at the moment when you are about to capture Dresen at the end of the second act.

Then, in Act III, a unique advisor should arrive at your court. Along the path of Eon, you will receive Melis the Devil, and along the path of Azatha, you will receive Early Sunset. You may have to complete a specific quest first for either Melis or Early Sunset to appear. For Azata, this means a visit to the sanctuary, which is located north of Dresen.

Note: I chose the Azatha path because I messed up my walkthrough. I accidentally pushed further using save, in which I did not choose the dialogue option with Aeon at Wordstone. This incident did not allow me to unlock it.

In any case, your goal is to take note of the advice given by your advisor. I'm not sure what Melis is doing, but here are some examples for Sunset Early:

  • Treants: Evil - "I authorize you to join on the terms that Early Sunset spoke of. You will tell us where your groves are and you will be held accountable for any wrongdoing."
  • Shadow Personalities / Kel Five Knives: Lawful - "Guardians, grab this man and hand him over to the nearest Hell Knights authorities!"
  • Children's Caravan: Lawful - "I cannot put these young souls in danger."

As far as I can tell, you should be safe if you follow the Melies or Early Sunset recommendations. Continue advancing until you reach the 8th Mythic Rank. At this stage, you will be able to choose your complete transformation. However, the mythical path of the devil is still not displayed here. This is because you have to choose the same option as before (Eon or Azatha) in order to secure it. Your advisor will then give you a challenge, which in turn will unlock the Devil's Mythic Path.

The Mythic Path of the Devil in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an amalgamation of the Angel and Demon variants, as well as some of the abilities you gained as Aeon or Azatha from previous ranks.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous available through Steam.
