As with almost all major Sims 4 expansion packs, the latter, Eco Lifestyle, offers two new options for your Sims.
One of these is the civilian designer career, which allows your Sim to truly get into the heart of community planning and environmental decision making. Here's how to start your civilian design career with The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle.
The good news is that you don't have to do anything special to start this new career path. All you have to do is use your Sim's phone or computer and select the "Find a Job" option. You will then be presented with a list of all the career paths available to your Sim. Just pick a career as a civilian designer and you'll land the job your Sims have dreamed of.
As with all jobs in The Sims 4, it is possible to get promoted and “level up” in the civilian design career. This is done over time as your sim completes daily tasks and ticks the advancement tasks in your chosen career. You need to become a civilian constructor and also reach level 10 if you want to complete all three stages of the Eco Innovator aspiration, which are new, as part of the Eco Lifestyle expansion.
After completing all three stages in the Eco-Innovator quest, your Sim will be rewarded with 2,100 Satisfaction, as well as gaining the Powerful Individual trait. The Powerful Person trait means your Sim will be bugged by other Sims. They can easily influence neighbors to support or attack a particular Sim or cause.
