Sea Of Thieves how to find cursed magazine captains

In this guide, we'll walk you through how to locate all five Cursed Journal Captains in Sea Of Thieves, and what you need to do in order to do so.

What you need to know. Basic moments

All 5 Cursed Journal Captains can be found either in Whispering Bayou, either in Fort of Lost Souls, but before you travel, make sure you have Soul Flame. This is important, and without it, you won't be able to find the magazines.

All locations:

1. Dammed Journal Location

Directions⇒Go to the Whispering Bayou and from your starting position head southeast until you see a hanging prison hanging from a log.

Actions⇒Approach the log, then light the torch with the Soul Flame and then cut or shoot the rope holding the cage. When the cage falls into the water, open it and take the magazine.

2. Dammed Journal Location

Tasks ⇔ Actions ⇒After getting the first magazine, head south until you reach a hut.

1. Light the torch with the Soul Flame and it will start a chain reaction.
2. Follow the torches and you will find yourself on the shore. Jump into the water and look for the sunken boat. Here you will find the second magazine.

3. Dammed Journal Location

Actions ⇒ Head west and you'll soon come across a hut, and next to it you'll find a rocking chair and a banjo. Light the torch with the soul flame and you will see the third journal.

4. Dammed Journal Location

Actions ⇒Go to Fort of Lost Souls, once you get there, look for a skeleton holding a lantern on the dock. Light it up and then follow the lantern trail leading to the entrance.

1. When you get to the courtyard, light the four braziers around the pit to open the secret door.
2. Go down the ledge and you will see another skeleton. Light the torch in his hand with the Soul Flame and then take the journal.

5. Dammed Journal Location

Actions ⇒ From the previous location, jump back into the water and keep going down until you see a lockpick, take it.

1. Swim back and you will see a small passage, swim there and you will reach a locked door.
2. Use the lockpick to open the door and you will be back in the courtyard.
3. Light the torch you see in front of you and return to the door with the Jack Sparrow poster.
4. Find a ladder here and cut the rope at the top.
5. Climb onto the platform and jump onto the others until you reach the top of the chamber with the Dammed Journal. Once here, just jump in and collect the last cursed journal captains.
