The Sky Rider Sword in Genshin Impact can give players a burst of attack damage and is one of the few weapons in the game with a guaranteed source.
Genshin Impact has amazing depth when it comes to building the best team roster. The right characters with the best artifacts and weapons can develop amazing and fun synergies that will devastate enemies. Often the difficulty is getting this weapon to start with and knowing who to use it with. The good news is that Skyrider Sword, which is also available through the Wish system, has a guaranteed in-game source if players know where to look.
In order to obtain the Sky Rider Sword, players will need to visit a character named Pang Guang'er, who can be found sitting under a teal-colored pavilion east of Qingyun Peak in the Liyue region. Interacting with him will bring up three dialogue options. Selecting "Did you lose something?" the players will start a dialogue, as a result of which Pan Guan'er will give them the Skywalker Sword. While in the area, players can also grow some of Liyue's special dishes, which will spawn here by killing two birds with one stone.
The Heavenly Rider Sword is a good option for people who are just starting to explore the Liyue region, but unfortunately has little to offer to players who have been exploring the world of Genshin Impact for a while now. Skyrider Sword has a low base attack stat of only 38, but the secondary stat is an additional 11.3% energy recharge, making it useful for characters who want to restore energy to keep using their Element Burst ability. When equipped, Skyrider Sword also increases attack and movement speed by 12% after using Elemental Burst, lasting 15 seconds. This creates a nice synergy and can work well with characters like Bennet, Keiya, or Anem Traveler who will tend to use their elemental blast as soon as it is on cooldown.
At level 5, the weapon will increase attack and movement speed by 24%, but will still be held back by a low base attack stat compared to other weapons. The Sky Rider Sword is a 3-star weapon, so it will automatically lose compared to 4- and 5-star weapons. This is a normal option for core early game DPS characters and works well as a simple energy recharge weapon for characters who cast their abilities quickly and then get replaced by someone with a bit more bite. It's a good idea for Genshin Impact players to check out the weapon tier list to make sure they're investing resources into the very best weapons.
The Sky Rider Sword is a great early game option, but ideally players will be able to use their free primogems to get something better from the Wish system. While the banner that weapons drop from can often be ignored in favor of new characters, it's just as important to go after the 4 and 5 star weapons that Genshin Impact offers.
