A puzzle platformer with a fair amount of humor. We have to play for a cute pig whose whole family was taken to the slaughterhouse, and he, out of his naivety, decided to commit suicide in order to see his own family in paradise pigland.
Our main character forgot that all suicides go to hell. And so it happened with our pink pig. In hell, we make a deal with the devil, which is that we must die dozens of times in order to have a chance to be in heaven with our family.
That's what Squishy the Suicidal Pig is all about - we'll have to die, but it's not easy to do that. We will have to interact with various mechanisms and bypass the insidious machinations of the devil, which in every possible way prevents us from dying.
Pros:
A simple and intelligible plot that draws us into the gameplay.
Bullying levels with a big dose of humor. At first, you want to scold the developers, but then you understand - it was cool.
There are boss battles, each of which is a big and interesting challenge.
Additional game modes: The passage of the game for a while, the battle of two pigs among themselves at the same computer with a friend and a survival mode in which you must try to hold out as long as possible.
Minuses:
There is no Russian language.
At the time of writing, there is a non-working achievement that the developer does not seek to fix.
Hats for decorating our pig are essentially opened only by the end of the game, which means that their presence in the game is useless.
Achievements:
There are no easy achievements in the game. It is complex in itself and each of the achievements is difficult. At the time of writing the review, one achievement - with the killing of all bosses in the most difficult mode does not count. Also in the game there is an achievement for completing the entire game in one hour, which in view of the latest patches is an extremely difficult task, which I did not undertake due to the broken bug above. If you want to have a perfect game, then pass by.
Outcome:
A very unusual platformer that was able to surprise and tighten me to the fullest. Definitely recommend, but get ready for the fact that the game is quite difficult and you may not be able to master it.
