If you've seen the other four Nier Replicant endings, then you're ready to embrace Ending E and its new surprises. If you're trying to see the new Nier Replicant all the way to the end, then you're in for a surprise with the new Ending E. This expansion wasn't in the original Nier release, and there's a lot of new content to enjoy. Ending E is the fifth and final conclusion of Nier Replicant, but for that you need to see the other parts of the story first and complete a few extra steps. How to get ending E
Ending E is your last playthrough of Nier's story to see it through to the end. You will need to complete Ending D first before you have a chance to take on E. We have covered in another guide how to get Endings A to D. This will require multiple playthroughs and make sure you have collected all the weapons. at Nier Replicant.
As we mentioned in the complete endings guide, you will start your journey in Ending E by creating a new save file. You cannot use the same name you used during Ending D, which has been removed. Choose something else and start a new playthrough, you will again continue the story as Nier's younger brother. If you're wondering where something separates and how it changes, keep reading below.
Where Ending E Begins
For a while, everything in your new playthrough will be the same, so feel free to skip the cutscenes. When you arrive at the Nest a second time and fight Hook, Ending E will begin. Things start to deviate once you finally kill Hook, giving you only a couple hours of extra play time. You won't finish the game until the end of the first half, or you'll dive back into the second half of the game. After you complete Ending E and see everything in its entirety, your save data from Ending D will be automatically restored. Nothing else special needs to be done.
How to play as Kane
Once you see the scene in Gron during the E playthrough, you will automatically switch from Nier's little brother to Kane. She tells the story of all your encounters, but keep in mind your time as Kane is limited. After you complete Ending E, the data for Ending D will be restored and replace the file you are in. Make sure you save another Ending E slot in Aerie as Nier's brother, in case you want to come back to this point later.
How to get Kain's weapon
Once you've played your Ending D save slot again, return to Kane's house as Nier. Examine the glowing object in the corner and you will be rewarded with the Sword of Khaine.
