Shooters with two poems were very popular for many years, and every year this genre is only expanding, producing more and more high-quality games.
Mixing this type of gameplay with procedurally generated stages adds even more fun and refeplening. Games such as Enter The Gungeon have perfectly proven it, and Feral Fury seeks to get into the same point.
Feral Fury is not as much plot, but the essence of him is that he rotates around the war between the pandas and pigs. Sounds madly, but it is true. Characters for whom you can play are pandas, but you can open a pork warrior. Among the enemies are pork soldiers, pork magicians, pork warriors, giant beetles and others. Most of them are unpleasant creatures, so you will not be difficult to destroy them as quickly as possible.
The game is divided into five chapters, each of which consists of three levels and battle with the boss. Levels consist of rooms that are procedurally generated in the form of almost labyrinth. To go through the level, you need to find a red computer disk that opens output from the level, and use it on the door exit. This will lead you to a room with teleport, which will take you to the next level. Depending on how lucky you are, you can find the disk and the output door very quickly, or you will have to be seized all the rooms at this stage. It is not always better to hurry with the passage of the stage; If you pay the study time, you can get better weapons, improvements, items and more. However, the passage of each level does not take much time, even if you explore it to the end.
As each room passes, you will move, shoot and dodge. When you shoot, you will have to recharge when the cartridges are running in the clip, but, fortunately, recharge does not take much time. Your main weapon has an unlimited reserve of cartridges, so shoot at your discretion. The secondary weapon, obtained from special chests found at different stages, has a limited ammunition. To replenish the ammunition, you can find accommoditors, but they are not so much. If you prefer to save more powerful secondary weapons for a special occasion or boss with the boss, you can press X to switch to your main weapon. When I took a pulse rifle or a gun-machine gun, I almost always postponed them for later until I finish the boss. This weapon will help you easily deal with bosses, practically destroying them if you play the card correctly. Along with this, to shy away from the bullets, you will have to use evasion.You can roll through them, which may be incredibly useful.
As mentioned earlier, you can find weapons, improvements and more, scattered in stages. Special chests can be opened only with blue computer discs, which can be accidentally found in the rooms or buy in automata for the assembled gold. Improvements can also be found in these chests or even hide in broken items. For example, you can find a critical strike strengthening, temporary health blocks, self-controlled bullets and much more. These bonuses are definitely useful, and they should be missed as soon as you see them. By the way, about adding to stats: there is one unique room that offers a risk-reward script player. If you go to the center of this room, you will be introduced two huge syringes that will give you a permanent increase of all your characteristics, but at the same time you will donate one of the blocks of health. If you do not want, you can not ignore, but from time to time it is a very tempting opportunity. You will turn into a glass gun - stronger, but much easier to destroy.
You can play in four characters, each of which has its own branded weapons and health. The initial character is a Panda soldier who uses a gun and has three health blocks. Passing the game is far enough, you can unlock three other characters: security forcial, red rose and traitor. The law enforcement uses a shotgun, a rose - a pulse rifle, and the traitor is a pulse rifle and grenades. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages, but they are all interesting in their own way in the game. I personally like the red rose most of all, because its weapon shoots so fast.
Feral Fury is not the most difficult game, but this does not mean that it can be passed without problems. The game at a normal or complex levels offers a good challenge that will make you be alert. Ordinary enemies are becoming a problem, only if you accidentally fall into the angle or find yourself in the room where it is difficult to maneuver. As soon as you learn how every enemy is fighting, it becomes easier to recognize and avoid. The same applies to bosses, but when you come across them for the first time, they will most likely bring you a couple of blows if you do not know what to expect. Easy mode, on the other hand ... incredibly light. Nothing amazing, but it's a step further than I thought at first. The description says "Butterflies and Parties on the occasion of the birthday", but I did not expect it to be perceived literally. Over the defeated enemies, the butterflies are pioneering, and fights with bosses are replaced by parties on the occasion of the birthday of innocuous pigs. The saddest thing is that to continue the game you will have to destroy innocent pigs, which I have become a little in itself. At the same time, parties on the occasion of the birthday will make you laugh at how inappropriate they are.
Despite the fact that the game is not very complicated, it is a cheerful shooter, which is worth seeing. Unfortunately, it's not so much interesting in it, as in games like ENTER THE GUNGEON, but it does not make her bad. If there were more content, such as more weapons, improvements, enemies, levels, and so on, the game could be much better. Depending on how well you can handle you, you will not need a lot of time to go through the game with all four characters and experience everything. Nevertheless, for its low price, Feral Fury may be worthy of attention.
Feral Fury is a good two-ficked shooter, resembling such games like ENTER THE GUNGEON, although it is not so many content. Gameplay smooth and fascinating, in the game four different characters. The game offers a decent test, but it is not overly complex.
