Predator Rescue Tips at Ancestors. you decide.

This is what we told you about in our analysis of Ancestors, a new video game developed by the father of the Assassin's Creed saga.

That's why at 3DJuegos we want to give you a cable connection and give you some tips so that the front pages of Panache Digital's adventure don't turn into a challenge. Do not expect us to show you the way in detail, it would be impossible given that everyone here lives their own survival adventure with the aim of development, but we will tell you about our experience so that you can somehow avoid can die cruel death from many dangers that lived on Earth ten million years ago.

Find a safe place for the cubs ... and then save them!

The beginning of Ancestors couldn't have been more intimidating. An adult hominid died, leaving his poor cub defenseless in the jungle. It will feel like a real nightmare for you, because the horror that grips the little primate is reflected in a vision of a gray, cloudy world, with rudios everywhere and images of hyenas and snakes jumping across the screen. Don't get carried away by fear.

  • Use the primate senses associated with the Y button to locate the nearest hideout. Do you understand? Memorize your location so that it appears on the screen and quickly jump to the location. There you can rest, and the action will pass to the adult hominid.
  • Try to rest in a hideout with some visual cues that are easy for you to remember. A big tree, a few stones, river water ... whatever it is, later on it will be easier for you to look for the child.
  • If you feel confident, you can immediately go with the chick to the clan settlement. This time, you'll have to use your senses to guide the sound. Track? You need to climb trees to get to the high ground where your family is hiding.

Offspring - the future and the key to evolution

One thing you'll quickly learn in Ancestors is that hatched cubs are essential for your clan's future. This is the next generation, life insurance that you can turn to if all adults die. They won't let you get to the scary Game Over! But they are also important, because without the participation of babies, it is impossible to generate that nervous energy that is ultimately used to learn new skills and develop.

  • Always carry your baby on your back. This will generate nerve energy, which you will see reflected in the lower right side of the screen. Look for improvement whenever you can!
  • You need to go to the settlement to develop or make a bed of leaves in the middle of the jungle.
  • Neural energy opens up possibilities, but first you have to activate these neurons, which you will achieve by performing certain actions during the game. Using scent, intelligence to recognize objects, strength in battle ... every action you take will determine what improvements you can unlock.

Use trees to explore your surroundings

This is what you learn by force after more than one predator attack. In the ancestral world, hominids are a footed snack; simple creatures that any animal can kill in seconds. So staying on land admiring the scenery or enjoying delicious dates ... well, that's the worst idea you could think of. Better use trees where no one can attack you unless you reach the highest places where then, yes, the eagles can chase you.

  • However, you are an easy target, so never stop. If you find an item of interest, look for a tree and explore, or try it on the branches.
  • After jumping, hold the jump button to automatically grab onto tree branches. This will prevent you from falling from a great height or breaking a bone.
  • Fruits grow on the treetops that heal hemorrhages. Try to find them as soon as possible so that in case of danger you know what to look for and where.

Learning the Basics - Protecting Your Home

If there is one thing that makes ancestors unique, it is their ability to make you feel vulnerable. At the start of the game, you can't even use both hands. Over time, you will learn to do this, and then you can start building better tools.

  • If you fold a few dry branches, you can build a palisade; ideal for defending against attacks by predators that may stalk the settlement.
  • By changing the dry branch, you get a stick with which you can defend against attacks, but it is better if you use a stone (whatever it may be) to sharpen the stick later and get a spear.
  • Stones affect some animals, but not all! It's also important to unlock upgrades so that your family members can defend themselves with or without weapons.

Wait for a signal before acting

It sounds silly, but it can cost you more than one grudge. In Ancestors, everything works on the basis of a reaction at a particular moment, determined by a light beep that you hear when performing actions such as sharpening a spear, friendship with other hominids, or a predator's counterattack.

  • During the attack, you have two options: run away or counterattack. If you run away, you will have to walk in the opposite direction of the predator; if you attack, you will have to point the stick towards the hunter.
  • Do not release the button until you hear a beep! You must wait for the signal or you will face the consequences.
  • With experience, you will also learn to destroy predators with the help of other predators. Get their attention, make them chase you ... and let them kill each other!

Embark on a journey of eight million years

Take it easy. While Ancestors invites you to evolve before our ancestors, it is not advisable to risk more than necessary. Your life depends on it!

  • Explore and get to know the landscapes around you well. Don't make a settlement in the first beautiful spot you find, it might be a crocodile's lair!
  • Travel alone, find a place and when you are cleansed, order the entire clan to follow you. Don't forget about the chicks!
  • Take time to teach other hominids how to make spears and other tools to speed up the process.

Enjoy the experience above all

Ancestors can be intimidating and sometimes unpleasant, but the journey they offer is well worth it. It really makes you feel like a person learning to survive unaided only in the face of countless threats. Just a challenge our ancestors faced. Therefore, you should not fall into despair and depression. Just play, experiment and admire the beautiful and dangerous wild world you find yourself in.
