If you've already completed your quests for the day and still need to get some photos for Ji Tong, open your journal (book icon on your quick wheel) to find a few nearby items. Go to the Enemies tab of the journal to find potential creatures. Here you can choose Hilichurl or most of the other brown creatures listed above.
The magazine will mark nearby places on your map so you can find them, making it easier to fill out your photobook.
