Find out if Hood: Outlaws and Legends is a single player game or not, what difficulties await you, what you need to do to complete the goal, read in our guide.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends officially went on sale today, and many players are already wondering if the game has a single player mode. In this new popular PvPvE game, two teams fight against the AI, as well as themselves, in order to steal the chest from the sheriff and deliver it to their hideout. Gold is earned, and then you decide whether to keep it all for yourself or share it with the "poor". The concept is great for an arena game, but can you actually start a heist on your own without the competitive aspect between two teams? Let's find out.

Is it single player or not in Hood: Outlaws and Legends

After starting a heist, you and three other real players join forces to try to steal the chest from the state. Meanwhile, four more players appear on the map with the same goal. The team that manages to extract the most gold from the chest wins.

To get to the chest, you first need to steal the key from the sheriff and then find the vault that holds it. Then you and your party mates carry this crate to the loot and try to get it to your hideout without letting the enemy team do the same to theirs.

This brings us to the main question. Can you do it all alone? If you're looking for the short answer, then no, you can't. Hood: Outlaws and Legends is a multiplayer game at its core, just like other similar IPs like Dead by Daylight and so on. This is a competitive PvPvE game that focuses on defeating the enemy team, so there is no single player mode in the game.

However, there are some things you can do alone. Your hideout has a training area that you can take advantage of and train with your characters, as well as a pure PvE mode that just throws you solo on any of the available maps. You don't have any tasks or commands to worry about, and there is no goal. This is a "virtual" stage where you can test everything you've learned and try to remember the location of the map. You can move around the field to explore its nooks and crannies, as well as practice your combat skills with NPC enemies. When you're ready, move out of this area and move on to regular matchmaking against other people.

In closing, are there any single player activities you can do? Yes, I have. Can you play the normal game as a single player? No you can not. At the moment it is, as the game just came out. Who knows what's in store for us in the future, and over time we might see some kind of single player mode or even a campaign for Hood: Outlaws and Legends.

And that's all there is to know about whether it's singleplayer or not. Hood: Outlaws and Legends.
