After some downtime earlier today, Epic Games war game Fortnite is now running version 11.21. The patch made a lot of changes. As usual, hardworking data miners have been hard at work uncovering some of the most interesting additions lurking under the surface. One of them is a new variant of the existing Fortnite Lace skin that players will surely want to get their hands on. Here's everything you need to know about the new addition.

As you can see from the image shown, the original gothic lace skin got a nice spruce look. Replacing black and gray with white and a soft pastel color scheme, the Lace skin is now arguably more accessible than ever. While there tends to be a flood of leaks related to loading screens, weapons, and cosmetics after every Fortnite update, little has been fixed this time around outside of this nice new outfit style.

If you're itching to get your hands on the new Fortnite Lace skin and look completely kawaii, although it's impossible to say for sure that its presence was discovered through data mining, you can guess how it was obtained. Previously, players who had already purchased selected skins were given their options for free the next time they logged in.

While we can't guarantee that owners of the original Lace costume will automatically receive a new variant of it at this stage, it's incredibly likely that we'll at least see it added to the rotating in-game item shop in the near future. Keep checking, then when you see it, be sure to grab it before it's gone. Of course, assuming you can save on premium V-Bucks.
