These cards open up great opportunities, where there are enhanced mobs with additional skills. In secret locations, where access is opened after using the map, you can get legendary weapons and armor, farm currency, or simply test your strength in battle against powerful opponents. But only well-trained players can pass them, and at the same time, for each unique location, you have to select the optimal build, which will allow you to quickly clear the territory and acquire rare artifacts from the chests that appear after killing the bosses.
The higher the level of the map, the more treasures you can find in the location.
In some cases, players will encounter an empty location without opponents (the Vaal Pyramid map), while other places will allow you to level up faster, as they provide an additional percentage of the experience gained.
All cards are divided into several types:
- white (the simplest and most accessible, which can be knocked out of ordinary monsters);
- blue (magical, having an increased level of complexity);
- yellow (rarely encountered, they can be completed at high levels, starting from 72+);
- unique (the rarest items that activate access to the most difficult locations).
The last category of cards opens a portal to a location where monsters have unique abilities. In rare cases, it is necessary to pass the location for a certain time, after which all the characters in this place die and go to the spawn point. It should be remembered that these items are disposable, so you need to prepare for the raid in advance, having familiarized yourself with the conditions of the battle when analyzing the map itself.
So, farming cards must be done by a character with the necessary equipment and level. As a rule, it is best to go on a trip with friends, but there are options when a lone warrior can pass the test. The easiest way to get cards is to buy them on the in-game market, but for beginners, spending money on acquiring things for "chaos" means significantly moving away from the ultimate goal in the form of the coveted equipment and legendary weapons.
Having prepared for the journey, you need to carefully study the conditions of the battle with monsters in the location. For example, the Whirlwind of Chaos card will have to be farmed as carefully as possible, since mobs will acquire immunity to stun, and with each hit they will hit the player with some kind of curse. But the reward from the chests will also please - from 200 to 400% of additional loot in case of successful passage.
The Mao Kun map (one of the most popular and sought after) is an area with pirates who leave treasure chests when they die. Opening the chests will spawn a unique boss named Graveland the Immortal, which will disappear every time the player drops his health to 90%. After killing the main boss, the divination cards "Surprise", "Seafarer" and "Player" can drop out to you.
