How do I get Sanrio and Hello Kitty items in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

This process will start working only after the game has been updated to version 1.9which is an anniversary update.

To get Sanrio Furniture, which includes Hello Kitty items, you need buy Sanrio Amiibo cards.

This process is different from how you usually get new furniture in the game.

This time, you'll have to buy them from Target stores ($ 6) in the US. They will also be available in Canada, perhaps at Best Buy or other retailers, and that could be around $ 7.
