Call of Duty: Black Ops The new Cold War Zombie Outbreak mode contains an Easter egg that veterans of the series may find familiar.
The Call of Duty franchise has a long and legendary history with Easter eggs. Particularly in Zombie mode, the Easter Eggs series becomes more challenging and challenging, and completing a task is seen as a surefire way to "defeat" the zombie map. Luckily, in the case of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, there is at least one Easter egg that doesn't require the usual hours of investment.
The fifth post from developer Treyarch in the Black Ops series was released on November 13, 2020. Outbreak Dragon Easter Egg
While the traditional Die Maschine and Firebase Z Easter eggs for Zombies maps have their own set of convoluted steps, this particular Easter egg is pretty explicit and simple. First, players will want to start the game in Outbreak mode. Once the match has officially kicked off, players will want to open their map and find a dragon symbol that resembles the Mortal Kombat logo. Get to the place where the logo is located, and if at least one person scored 500 points, activate it. This will cause a purple ring to form in which players will need to kill enough zombies to fill the floating ether canisters. Once the canisters are full, the dragon will fly into the sky, leaving players with a rare loot chest as a reward. To summarize:

- After the official launch of the game, open the map.
- Look for the Dragon symbol that resembles the Mortal Kombat logo.
- Get to the location and pay 500 points to activate the car.
- Kill the zombies inside the purple ring that appears.

- The dragon will fly into the sky, spawning a rare loot chest.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Callback
For those who didn't make comparisons, the Dragon is a nod to the Der Eisendrache Easter egg from Black Ops 3, where the heads of several mythical creatures were an integral part of the level. It should be noted that the Dragon Easter Egg is not the main Outbreak egg, and Black Ops Cold War developers have confirmed that the main mode Easter Egg will arrive with the start of Season 3. As content continues to grow in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, so does its file size. The file size of the game has grown to undeniable levels of colossal, to the point where the former Call of Duty developer has called out to set the size of the game to take up more than 500GB the PS4 can handle. If Outbreak's main Easter egg is as prolific as Zombies players have come to expect, they may need an entire dedicated console solely for the experience.
