Hannon played notoriously heavy songs like "Paranoia Survivor Max ONI" and "Valkyrie Dimension" on his biggest difficulties. Although Hannon lives by the motto "Dance like no one is watching", he reportedly really hoped that literally someone would see his "sick" dance moves.
“I go through all the steps, constantly improving, but obviously no one wants to support a local artist,” Hannon said in an interview with a shrill and trembling voice. “Someone must be impressed, right? I mean, it looks cool. Much cooler than anyone else in this goofy arcade game.
As night fell, Hannon spent hours working hard to draw attention to his DDR gameplay. He pulled out several costume changes, including a rainbow wig as well as a furry suit with glowing eyes, and even hacked the game's sound system to turn the volume up to colossal levels in the hopes that he would at least get a couple of glances. Unfortunately, no one looked up at their Time Crisis playthroughs or their attempts to win the prize machine to watch him perform.
“He comes here almost every Friday and is usually alone,” Bloom said. “He does all these crazy things trying to get people to follow him. We used to scold him for this, but he basically does more maintenance on the car than any of us put together, so as long as the customers don't complain, we just ignore it. ”
