Learn how to get a chest in the Glass Vault in Destiny 2 by infiltrating a raid using a glitch.

The glass vault in Destiny 2 holds a lot of rewards, and players with some effort can sneak through its walls with a glitch. This method allows solo players to get equipment from raid chests, which are otherwise best opened with a full team.

How to get into the Glass Raid for the first chest

Glitching and Destiny 2 go hand in hand, so it's no surprise that players want to work their way into the Vault of Glass to get some loot and trophies of conquest. One of Destiny 2's most experienced players, Esoterickk, has provided players with a detailed video demonstrating how to use the Glitch to get into the Vault of Glass.

The process of breaking into the Glass Vault is the same for each character and uses the same basic trick called "sparrow break". This method has been around since the original Destiny, and involves using a "sparrow" to squeeze through and out of the game's geometry. Basically, dodge to the side as you get off the sparrow to make the character move sideways. This technique is performed next to a rock to push you underground.

For the titans, you will need Lion Rampant boots, a sword, and a lifting catapult. Hunters will need high mobility, sword, triple jump and St0mp-EE5. Sorcerers require a sword and a top-level Dawnblade. The path for all three classes is exactly the same, only the jumps are slightly different. For example, Sorcerers have no way to move to a vertical position after falling, while Hunters can recover thanks to a significant vertical jump.
