In one of the Fortnite weekly challenges, players will have to find and destroy 3 special sand castles on the island, and here's how to do it.
Fortnite is gearing up for summer this week with a few missions that involve heading to the beach and destroying some sand castles. There is another quest that requires players to build 3 special sand castles, but in this guide we will focus on the demolition quest. Completing tasks and quests is great for players looking for extra XP to unlock new items through the Fortnite Battle Pass. By destroying 3 sandcastles, players will be able to get a huge 24k XP.
This quest is good because it can be completed literally in the first few minutes of a match in Fortnite. All sand castles are in one specific location, and players can simply land there with the Battle Bus without too much trouble. However, if players try to land there right away, they should switch tactics and find some weapons first, as many players will also be trying to complete this Season 6 Week 10 challenge.
Where to destroy special sand castles in Fortnite
Once players enter a Battle Royale match, they should head to the beach located directly southwest of Misty Meadows, which is in the bottom half of the new Fortnite map. It will not be difficult to find it, since the beach is rather small in length and is clearly covered with sand. Once players land in the area, they should notice a sofa and clothing line under a small canopy that keeps people out of the sun. Sandcastles will be scattered near the canopy, but they should all be very close to each other. Players can look at the location in the image below if they need more clues.
Luckily, players won't need any items to physically destroy the sandcastles. Players just need to approach one of the sand castles and interact with it for a second, after which it will be destroyed. Do this with three special sand castles and the quest will be marked as completed and XP will be earned.
And it's all. Once players complete this quest, they will be able to complete all the others and gain even more experience points. Also coming to Fortnite is a new time-limited mode called Impossible Escape, in which players enter a map with a limited number of weapons and need to escape by finding Choppa parts.
