With all the new NPCs in Fallout 76 with the Wastelanders update and their associated factions, players will have a lot of grinding work to do.
With all the quests and other tasks you are about to complete, you will be showered with loot. One of the items you will end up seeing are Treasury bonds. Gold bars are an in-game currency that can be exchanged for another new NPC named Smiley. The ingots can then be exchanged for various other items.
Each of the three gold bar vendors in Fallout 76 is associated with their own unique faction, each also offering their own storylines. Vendors will sell you various items for gold. The more faction reputation you have with members of that area, the more items you can purchase from the Gold Bar Vendor.
The three gold bar supplier locations in Fallout 76 are as follows:
- The crater is the northern part of the map. You are looking for Mortimer, who is located west of Fort Prickett in the crater core building.
- The main one is the southern part of the map next to the Spruce Knob campground. Use the main elevator in the underground headquarters to find Samuel.
- Storage 79 is the northeastern part of the map and the eastern part of the Bailey family's cabin. Here you need to talk to Reg to talk to the vendor.
