How to increase the number of units in Iron Harvest?
Population is a resource in Iron Harvest that limits the number of units that can be controlled by one player at the same time. Instead of being a resource that is produced by buildings, each player has a population limit that determines how many units a player can have. When a unit is built, it consumes some of the free population the player has. This part is released again when the unit is destroyed. The population limit can be increased by:
- Build a barracks
- Build a workshop
- Modernization of the barracks
- Workshop upgrade
It is worth noting that the population only increases once for each of these actions. Thus, building two barracks increases the population only once. Therefore, the maximum possible population is achieved with the simultaneous presence of an improved barracks and an improved workshop. The loss of a building lowers the population limit to the level it would have been without the building/upgrading of the corresponding building.
That's all you need to know about how to increase the number of units in Iron Harvest.
