If you don't have a super powerful computer, but you really want to play CS:GO, then you should make sure that your computer is ready to withstand high loads.
There are some simple rules to optimize your PC for playing CS:GO:
- Keep your computer clean: both inside (do not download any third-party programs) and outside (don't forget to dust it periodically)
- Update your drivers! One of the simplest but most effective rules, which can sometimes give an impetus equivalent to buying a new video card
- Close all third-party programs before starting the game! Especially browsers! After passing the test with the browser open and closed, you will be surprised how much Google Chrome eats up memory.
If these simple tips did not help, then we recommend you to read our article about FPS in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, where you will find more tips on how to play CS:GO without lags.
