There is a sub-plot in Yakuza: Like A Dragon where you have to collect a premium sushi set for a homeless man in exchange for his crayfish. A very special crayfish named Nancy.
The problem is that finding this elusive set is quite difficult, especially if you are in a hurry. In this guide, I will show you where to find the premium sushi set.
Where to find a premium sushi set in Yakuza: Like A Dragon
If you are just a curious visitor passing by, then you should clarify a bit. The game has a sub-reference called The Crawfish Caper, which becomes available starting from Chapter 5. It is located on the Sunrise Bridge, and you activate it by talking to a small crab that raises its claws at you.
Let's not hide anything, there will come a time when you will need to exchange a premium sushi set with a homeless person who is holding this crayfish hostage. By the way, this crayfish's name is Nancy.
To get this premium sushi set, you need to visit the Poppo store. They are marked with an orange cart on your map. However, you won't find a sushi set near the homeless Poppo. Instead, you need to head to Poppo located next to Jinnai Station.
Just go to a Poppo vendor, ask for something to buy, and get one set of Premium Sushi for 2,000 yen. And that's pretty much it! Just go back to the homeless man and he will give you Nancy in exchange for a set.
What rewards will you receive for giving it away?
This is spoiler territory, so keep that in mind before reading any further.
After you give the premium sushi set to the homeless, you will unlock Nancy's crab as a pound mate. If you don't know what a Poundmate is, then these are powerful allies that you can call upon to help you in combat - for a fee.
Almost all of them are locked behind sub-stories, like Nancy, and many of them only become available as you progress through the story. For example, Nancy can only be obtained after the fifth chapter, while others you simply cannot get until at least the eighth chapter. Therefore, in order to get all Poundmates, you need to keep an eye out for new sub-stories as you progress through the campaign, as any of them can reward you with a new ally. And they can get you out of very difficult situations, so it's worth getting them.
Summoning Nancy costs 1,000 yen (which is pretty cheap compared to others) and her skill is called Tick Plague. It only affects humans, deals decent damage, and can poison your chosen targets.
