In this article, we will provide you with all five-star characters in Genshin Impact.
All 5 star characters in Genshin Impact
Albedo
Element: Geo
Weapon: sword
Recommended build: Sub DPS
While you could certainly make Albedo your primary DPS squad member, his reliance on defense suggests he's better used as a stand-in for another potent character. Albedo's signature attacks are as beautiful as they are effective, clearing entire battlefields with their explosive Geo colors.
Dilyuk
Element: Pyro
Weapon: claymore
Recommended build: basic damage per second.
With the highest DPS of all the other Genshin Impact characters, it's no surprise why Diluk is one of the most sought after party members in the game. With his powerful strikes, Diluk is able to break through enemy shields and interrupt enemy attacks, quickly turning the tide of any battle.
Ganyu
Element: Cryo
Weapon: onion
Recommended build: primary or secondary DPS.
The great thing about Ganyu is how versatile she is, allowing you to customize her role to what you think is best.
Ganyu can boost her stats and turn her into a self-sufficient attack machine, while others can use her to deal secondary damage and freeze opponents so another character can unleash continuous hits. Whatever style you choose, you can't go wrong with Ganya on your team.
Hu Tao
Element: Pyro
Weapon: pole weapon.
Recommended build: basic damage per second.
Polearm wielders who rely on speed and fast sequential attacks are naturally good fighters.
Combined with Hu Tao's powerful fire abilities, this combo provides a formidable presence in combat.
Hu Tao's elemental skill even increases her ATK stats, but she has a downside - she sacrifices HP in the process, so you need to keep an eye on her health during combat.
We recommend having another DPS protagonist in your squad that you can switch to, just in case.
Zhdin
Element: Anemo
Weapon: sword
Recommended build: Sub DPS or Support
Thanks to his Anemo abilities, Jin is great at moving enemies and can even send them flying from high surfaces like rocks.
In addition to crowd control, Jean's Elemental Blast provides a massive amount of healing to your group by dealing damage to nearby enemies. She may not be the star of the battlefield, but Jean will offer you all sorts of tactical advantages that will make defeating your enemies much easier.
Ke Qing
Element: Electro
Weapon: sword
Recommended build: basic damage per second.
Keqing is the perfect character for players who value speed. She is able to dominate the battlefield with lightning-fast moves thanks to her Elemental Skill, which teleports her in any direction you choose, while also unleashing a powerful attack. Her Elemental Burst is not only fantastic for fighting mobs, but is also one of the most visually appealing moves in the entire game.
Klee
Element: Pyro
Weapon: Catalyst
Recommended build: primary or secondary DPS.
While Klee can deal a lot of damage at once, her chain attacks leave her vulnerable to being interrupted by an enemy (unless you keep jumping). Also, her impressive attacks are harder to land at close range, so it would be wise to use Klee from a distance and then switch to a melee fighter when the tide of battle changes.
Mona
Element: hydro
Weapon: Catalyst
Recommended build: Sub DPS
Mona works best in collaboration with other party members, as her Elemental Burst increases the damage you can deal with elemental reactions. The Astrologer has unique traits such as the ability to travel on water, as well as an elemental skill that sends out a decoy that attacks nearby enemies with Hydro.
qi qi
Element: Cryo
Weapon: sword
Recommended build: Support
Qiqi's healing abilities are currently unmatched by other characters. Both her elemental skill and elemental blast have strong healing along with cyro damage, so you can protect your group by setting up new elemental reactions (and buying time by freezing enemies!). What's more, the healing effects continue across character transitions, making Qiqi the best support character in Genshin Impact.
Tartaglia
Element: hydro
Weapon: onion (main)
Recommended build: basic damage per second.
A big part of Childe Tartaglia's appeal is his unique ability to switch between ranged and melee attacks. Unlike Mona, whose Hydro skills are better suited for creating elemental reactions, Tartaglia is able to destroy enemy mobs on his own thanks to his combat versatility and unique abilities like Riptide.
Traveler
Element: Anemo or Geo
Weapon: sword
Recommended build: Sub DPS
Whether equipped with Anemo (which we all know is the best option) or Geo, Traveler is the least impressive member of Genshin Impact's 5-star character, which is fair as Traveler is also the only 5-star character. At the very least, using the Geo Elemental skill helps to get hard-to-find oculuses!
Venti
Element: Anemo
Weapon: onion
Recommended build: Sub DPS
Venti offers great mobility thanks to its Elemental Skill, which creates an air current that you can ride on (useful both in and out of combat). His Elemental Burst is also perfect for crowd control, as it pulls in all nearby enemies and keeps them off the ground while you chain elemental attacks and reactions.
Xiao
Element: Anemo
Weapon: pole weapon.
Recommended build: basic damage per second.
Xiao is an excellent melee fighter, able to deal a lot of damage with his polearms and speed. However, just like with Hu Tao, you need to keep an eye on Xiao's health as his Elemental Burst drains HP to boost his attack. If you're using Xiao as your main DPS character, it's always a good idea to have a healer like Qiqi on hand.
Zhong Li
Element: Geo
Weapon: pole weapon.
Recommended build: Sub DPS
Zhong Li might not have the highest damage output, but his Elemental Burst can petrify a bunch of enemies for a short time, giving you a short respite (or the ability to blast through enemies non-stop). Zhongli's abilities boost Geo Attacks, so he's best paired with other members of your Geo Vision party.
