Which areas of the night city in Cyberpunk 2077? The futuristic dystopia Night City is home to over five million people and is located in the free state of Northern California on the US West Coast.
The Cyberpunk board game divides the city into ten large "zones", most of which are subdivided into smaller zones. Six of them appear to be featured in the new game, reimagined as districts. There are six neighborhoods in Night City, each with its own unique challenges - it's certainly voted the worst place to live in America in 2077. The districts of the city range from criminal and gangster, poorer, to chic and wealthy. The districts are dominated by large corporations. Areas of Cyberpunk 2077
The six districts of Cyberpunk 2077 are:
city center - The largest area run by corporations and the "quintessence of luxury." Home for tall skyscrapers and government officials.
Watson – Dominated Asian cultures and was once a similar corporate giant, but is now “inhabited by immigrants”, hiding various bazaars and markets in a tangle of narrow streets.
Westbrook “Westbrook is the playground for the wealthy cyberpunk elite, where you'll find Japantown, the cultural center of the Japanese community and a hangout for celebrities and corporate parties.
Heywood - A posh community and suburban neighborhood with a hidden gang problem.
Santo Domingo – The industrial power plant of the city, filled with power plants and factories.
Pacifica Pacifica is a wildly dangerous, mostly deserted area infested with gang activity.
From a recent deep dive video, we were able to see the Pacifica in more detail to confirm just how dangerous the area is. Cut off from much of Night City, gang violence is most prevalent in this area, mostly driven by the warring factions of the Animals and the Voodoo Boys.
