The latest Blair Witch game is out now, and while it has its issues, it's still a terrifying romp through the dark forest and depths of madness - and whatever.
Anyone looking for a new horror adventure could do worse to check this out. However, there is one mystery that baffles many players - the mystery of the bunker, in particular, finding the Blair Witch game's combo castle in order to get inside.
The Blair Witch Bunker mystery and the combination lock that leads to it are found in Chapter 4 of the game, which is based on a video you found called The Breadcrumb Trail. Here you can find the mysterious bunker that Ellis tells the sheriff about. Go in before doing anything else and you'll find a combination lock - no obvious combination. Let's find.
After you exit the bunker, you'll have to go and follow Bullet to get a Breadcrumb Trail videotape that will take you back to the bunker - but still no combination. Rewind the tape to get a baseball, let Bullet track it and eventually you will reach a white tree. Head back through the woods and you'll find the sheriff's truck.
There is another annoying puzzle here called the "Fuse Puzzle" and we will have to cover it in more detail elsewhere. There is a note on the truck that reads "Ch 03. Say 'the light'". Call this channel on the radio and it will tell you to turn on the headlights. Get the Bullet to find the keys, then get in the truck and use them - but nothing will happen. Pull the lever to open the hood, attach the wire to the battery, then go back - and the radio makes some noise.
Press the button on the radio and you'll find a clip from the game show as well as a female voice. You will then receive a text message like in the picture above, which shows the combination of Blair Witch playlocks for the bunker. Although these are all sliding blocks, the code is essentially:
2 1 1 3
Head back to the bunker (you can worry about the truck and the fuse puzzle later), use this code on the lock and you'll find the radio is missing a battery that you can only find later in the game. You can take this battery with you for the second playthrough, then open the bunker again and you can connect it to the radio! Hope it was worth the wait...
