The Moro boss fight is the third main boss encounter in Resident Evil Village, after an intense duel with Lady Dimitrescu and a sinister game of hide and seek in the Benevento house. If the puppet boss fight in the Benevento house was a nice change of pace from the whole thing, the Moro fight is just another standard fight that you should get through without too much trouble. He has a few annoying moves that you'll have to keep an eye on, but basically this boss is pretty easy. Here's how to beat Moro in Resident Evil Village.
How to beat Moro in Resident Evil: Village
This fight takes place in a grid-like arena. The Moro will slowly chase you around the flooded houses, but is slow and easy to avoid. Just keep your distance and shoot him every chance you get. If you need ammo or healing items, there are barrels and crates that you can smash to find ammo and other supplies inside. Mines are your best friend in this fight because Moro will slowly stumble down predictable paths. Leave a few mines behind when he's chasing you to deal light damage. You can also shoot the red barrels scattered throughout the arena to deal light damage.
Once you deal enough damage to him, Moro will jump onto a nearby rooftop and prepare an acid rain that will cover the entire arena. If you find yourself in an open area, this attack will slowly damage you until Moro stops, so you need to find cover. You can take cover in the same places where you can get supplies and ammo. These items usually have a roof over them. Once you're safe, shoot Moro and he'll jump back down into the arena.
When Moro comes back down to chase you, there will be some slime blocking some of the paths. You can destroy this slime with a knife or pistols, but be careful not to get trapped between the slime and Moro. Try to shoot him before you get too close. By this point, you've already seen everything this boss has to offer, so just flush and repeat until Moro is completely dead. When he dies, he will drop a Moro crystal, which you can sell to the duke for a large amount of lei. In addition, shortly after the fight with this boss, you will be able to get Moro's Hidden Weapon.
