With the end of Season X, the Fortnite map we've all known and loved since the battle giant Epic Games was launched has been sunk into a black hole that may never be seen again. With the old and the new done away, as they say, today fans are busy with a whole slew of exciting new developments as Epic works to release a new chapter and new season for the game. One piece of news is that the new form of Battle Pass progression will challenge players to earn in-game medals, so in order to stay one step ahead, here's everything you need to know about how to get medals in Fortnite Season 11.

How to Earn Fortnite Battle Pass Medals

Thanks to Fortnite News on Twitter, we were able to get a glimpse of the upcoming new form of Battle Pass progression in Season 11, or what some are calling Chapter 2. The Battle Pass, a tiered premium service that allows players to earn new items by completing certain in-game requirements, progress has been completely redesigned, so let's find out what's new.

The next Battle Pass can be completed by completing many challenges to earn all new medals. It is likely that these challenges will be similar to existing competitions, where completing a given amount rewards players with exclusive event loot for their challenges. Historically, these challenges have been for everything from taking out a certain amount of opponents with special weapons to fun little fun mini-games hidden around the map.

Medals can be earned on a daily basis, rotating every 24 hours, so players will always have tasks they need to tackle while aiming to fill up their punch card to maximize their accumulated experience points.
