Sound support in Portal is pleasant. The tracks are not so much, but they accurately convey the atmosphere of what is happening in the game, and the Glados voices and the most turret you still thank them for talking when you meet at the highest level. The song from the final titles - Still Alive - in the first days after the release of the game became a hit, which is quite deservedly remember for a long time.

For the schedule and the embodiment of the laws of physics in the game, the already proven Source engine is responsible. It should be noted that cubism prevails in the architecture here, but even the game looks beautiful. Portal is one example of the fact that the technology should simply allow artists to express themselves, and they will already give the game how many pleasant appearance.

Alas, but not without minus. The main one is brevity. When you study handling portals, the rooms will fly one after another very quickly, and you will probably listen to the Still Alive mentioned much more than expected. However, this can be recorded in Plus - because of its miniature (19 test rooms, two and a half character, etc.) There is nothing unnecessary, tortured in Portal. In my opinion, this is much better than if the developers were artificially trying to stretch the game, which is almost always noticeably naked eye and can cause strong irritation. Someone may not like that there is not even a hint of a network game, although it is clear - to make that several players can simultaneously rape space, very and quite difficult.

And, of course, how any other game from Valve, Portal was free to modify the desire.
