Some doors in Baldur's Gate 3 are locked and have infinite durability, which means you can't break them. Tell us about one of them.

There is a heavy oak door in the crypt of the ruins that Shadukhart is talking about. To open it, you will need a key, which can be found inside the stone sarcophagus. However, once the key is unlocked, you will activate a death trap. You need to know how to act.

How to open the heavy oak door to the crypt

Once you get to the crypt, look at the two doors on the right and left.

There are several chests in the room - search them. To open the left door, you need to get an engraved key, which can be found in the room on the right.

What to do next:

Enter the room on the right. In the middle you will see a sarcophagus in which the key is hidden. Don't touch yet. Place items on vents to keep slime from escaping. There are 6 such holes in total. After that, you can open the sarcophagus. Take out the key and sword. Head towards the heavy oak door at coordinates X: -294 Y: -288. Use the engraved key to open the door. You can also find a button on a pillar in the sarcophagus room (if you have enough understanding). Click to stop deadly traps.

You can search the coffin without blocking the vents, but there's a good chance you could die. When you open the coffin without blocking the vents, slime is released that makes it difficult to move. At this point, fire arrows start flying out of both sides of the room.

Along with the engraved key in the coffin you will find a rather powerful two-handed sword.
