How to use Magnebots in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
Magnebots can only be used to walk on magnetic tracks - you can find them in various places in most of the locations you visit. The most important advantage of magnetic boots is that they make the character "stick" to the ground. This means you can walk on vertical walls, winding paths, and even ceilings.
The use of magnetic bots may be required to progress through the main storyline, although in many situations they allow you to get to the secrets hidden on the maps. Once you've found a new magnetic path, examine it carefully to see if it leads to collectibles.
An important note about magnetic bots - they allow you to jump between adjacent paths. The jump option will only appear when you get close to the adjacent path and see the yellow hexagon that marks the landing location. Only after that you need to press the Circle button to make the jump. Often you will be forced to do this in order to complete the entire sequence of paths.
Additional information - The glitch that you control several times in scenes where you need to remove viruses from the system is also able to walk on walls and ceilings. In this case, you do not need to look around in search of magnetic tracks, since this character is able to climb any wall and ceiling without additional obstacles. You will have to use this ability to solve some of the puzzles that Glitch is involved in.
And that's all there is to know about how to use Magnebots in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
