In the cold and unforgiving land of Skyrim, a potion of health restoration can be crucial in battle, so adventurers memorize the recipe.

Skyrim is one of the few video games whose popularity lasts 10 years, as even a decade later gamers are still coming back to fight hungry wolves, mischievous demigods, and a small case of civil war. As a Dragonborn, players will find it much easier to survive in harsh environments if they know the Health Potion Recipe.

Two ingredients that have a common effect can be combined into a mixture; Those with Restore Health include:

  • Wheat
  • blue mountain flower
  • blistered
  • butterfly wing
  • blue dart
  • Imp Stool
  • Charred Skeever Hide
  • Whitethroat Egg
  • Swamp Mushroom Pod
  • Saber cat's eye
  • Daedra Heart
  • Ash Jelly (Dragonborn)
  • Tern Feathers Felsaad (Dragonborn)

Combining any of the listed ingredients in the Alchemy Lab will result in a Health Restoration Potion that can be used to immediately restore a certain amount of health points, depending on the strength of the mixture. However, since it is possible to create health restoration potions that also damage the player, players are advised to consider any additional effects that the ingredients may have in common. For example, combining a butterfly wing with a daedra heart (one of the rarest alchemy ingredients in Skyrim) produces a potion that restores health and damages magic.

Players can mix stronger potions by leveling up their Alchemy skill, choosing Alchemy Perks, and equipping items with the Fortify Alchemy enchantment. Ingredients and Labs are ubiquitous in the game, so becoming an Alchemy Master in Skyrim is simple, practical, and highly recommended.

Skyrim is now available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
