Season 6 of Fortnite has added several new Mythic weapons that can only be obtained by defeating the game's mini-bosses, and one of the game's mythical items is an incredibly powerful shotgun that will quickly take down even the toughest opponents. The Primal Shotgun Spire Assassin is one of the most sought after weapons in Fortnite right now, but also one of the hardest to get.
How to get Fortnite's Mythic Spire Assassin's Primal Shotgun
To get the new Spire Assassin Primal Shotgun, players will need to hunt down and destroy the Spire Assassin. This hostile NPC is the same as the Battle Pass level 100 skin and can be found patrolling the Spire. This is a new POI in the middle of the map and is also part of the first cinematic for Fortnite Season 6. The Spire Assassin will be roaming the city looking for players to kill, and she will be wielding a deadly shotgun and a Primal Rifle. Players will want to dive in and out of cover while fighting her as she aims very accurately and deals massive damage. However, she can also teleport through walls and around corners, making her very agile and even more dangerous. All the player has to do is destroy the Assassin Spire and she will drop her mythic shotgun.
Players should not confuse the giant spire and Spire Killer with the smaller spires guarded by the Spire Guardians. These NPCs will also attack the player and teleport, but will not drop mythical weapons when hit. Instead, the Guardians of the Spire will drop special orbs that players can carry into the Spire to obtain Mythic Spire Jump Boots. Guardians will also drop legendary or epic weapons, but they are not as powerful as the original Mythic Spire Assassin shotgun.
