The game Temtem is an adventure RPG, the main events of which are connected with the fate of amazing and unusual animals.

Embark on an exciting journey through the floating islands of a vast archipelago in search of the very Temtem with which you can compete. Carefully inspect the surrounding locations, because small and nimble little animals can hide literally everywhere. Carefully catch suitable specimens that will replenish your team.

Train your wards by teaching them unique tricks. These combinations will be needed during performances in the arena, where the animals will meet with representatives of the other team. Challenge your competitors and put your squad to battle. Follow the fight, use Temtem abilities and try to win. For each successful battle, you get prize funds that will be needed to improve your home and training ground. By gaining experience, learning new skills, your Temtem will become stronger, perhaps in the future they will be able to defeat the strongest leaders and allow you to get the title of the greatest tamer.

What are the best Temtems to add to your team? To answer this question, we have summarized the ones that stand out the most into a list of temporal levels. Since the early days of Pokemon, the incentive has always been to catch them all, but the truth is that you can only have six people on your team at any given time.

Before we begin, let's review our thought process. We are currently in Early Access Temtem which means we have yet to see the entire Temtem roster. So we decided to create this Temtem list for the early game. So you can build a strong Temtem team as soon as possible. This is handy due to the way Temtem evolution works, as your Temtem won't evolve until a certain number of levels have grown. Because of this, we've found it handy to have your teams good and early, so you can get that great stat boost as they develop.

We also decided not to include every element. Instead, we focus on the ones we think you need or should avoid at all costs. We've added a few that we think are just fine if all else fails. As more Air Archipelago opens up over time, we'll be sure to update this list with any new Temtem worth acquiring. Here is the best Temtem you can get right now and our Temtem list for where they rank.

Best Tamtem Team

Top level

SAKU
You can pick up this Temtem pretty quickly as Kaku is available in the early game and only requires 11 levels to level up. Saku is a wind and nature type, but they can also learn poison and mental moves, making them a good choice.

UKAMA
When you get to the second Temtem Island, you will encounter many types of fire and nature. Nature types are a pain for a Water type, but having a Water Temtem with you for various Fire Temtem is great. Ukams are great Temtem in their own right and you can catch Umishi early on and evolve him after 14 levels.

GAZUMA
You can pick up Ganky quite early and it's worth it as it will turn into Gazuma after 27 levels. The first Temtem area is filled with wind and water type Temtem, so you get a lot of value early on. Barnshee is also quite prominent in the early game, but takes four times as much electricity damage as the mental and wind types. You can see where we're going with this.

OCEARA
If you're looking for another powerful item like water, then catch Okeara in the Aguamarina Caves in Denise. Oceara has a special attack and speed, and does not require training to develop. Food for thought.

ANAHIR
This item is a bit rare as it is both fire and crystals. It is also excellent in defense and special defense, so it is also a tank. However, it deals four times more ground damage, so keep that in mind.

Average level

BARNSHEE
As a wind/metal hybrid, the Barnshee is an attractive choice due to the uniqueness of its move set. The main issue, however, is that the Barnshee can be reliably single-shot with an electric move. Since Ganky and Gazuma are early favorites among Temtem tamers, we have decided not to promote Barnshee to the top tier. Barnshey is still good, just walk away or dodge if an electric type shows up.

SAIPAT
This is another Temtem that covers a lot of the basics. Saipat is a dueling type of water and hand-to-hand combat that learns early on a poisonous attack called "Poison Claws". If you catch a Saipat with the Poison Affinity Trait, it will deal more damage. You can also give them the Sai Duck nickname by making a witty call back to the Pokémon.

NESSLA
This option is good if you can catch him with the Electric Synthesize trait, as he heals you if you take electrical damage. This means that you can use the Electric Charge attack and deal damage to your opponents while healing yourself.

BABOONG
Baboong is a good starter, especially if you're getting a muscular streak. They also have good moves that make them a good Temtem partner. For example, Perfect Jab deals damage by lowering the opponent's defense level and sets them up to continue. Since Baboon is quite fast, you can usually count on him to go first as well.

TENTAL
The tents are ok. They are weak to electric, digital and crystal - so keep your mind on it. However, if you need to set aside a near or normal type manuscript, they are fine.

Low level

SHERALD
What makes Sherald unique is their crystal. Unfortunately, however, your other starting item, Tuwai, picks up on this type as they evolve. Just playing the game will also bring you Anair, crystal and fire to download.

WIDLUMP
Just like Barnshee, this item requires one electrical switch. Also, Widlump is good in certain situations.

TATERU
Zubat from Temtem. Tateru is everywhere on the opening island, but doesn't make a whole bunch. They don't have weaknesses, that's ok. This, however, is only strong versus mental. Temtem fights are largely played out by exploiting weaknesses, making Tateru very situational.

And there you have it, the best Temtem to build your team. If you'd like more information about starters and Temtem's handy type table, we'll provide the information for you.
