Where to Find Midnight Carp in Stardew Valley
Players who start a new save in Stardew Valley will not be able to immediately get the Midnight Carp. This special fish is only available during the game's fall and winter seasons, and each new file starts on the first day of spring. Unlike other life simulation games, the seasons in Stardew Valley do not change in real time. Each one only lasts 28 in-game days, so players need to wait 56 days to progress to The Fall for the carp to spawn. There are three locations on the Stardew Valley map where the midnight carp lives. Follow the river in Pelican City north to reach The Mountain, the first area to fish in. The midnight carp only lives in the pond on the east side of the area, so head there to find it. Finally, you can also go fishing on Ginger Island.
