A guide to the meadows, the Black Forest and the swamp in Walheim is a game in which you have to explore a huge fantasy world steeped in Scandinavian mythology and Viking culture.

Your adventure will begin in the heart of Valheim, a rather peaceful place. But beware, because the further you advance, the more dangerous the world around you will become. Fortunately, along the way, not only dangers await you - you will also more often find valuable materials that will be very useful for creating deadly weapons and strong armor. Build fortresses and outposts around the world! And over time, build an indestructible drakkar and set off to conquer the endless oceans in search of foreign lands... But try not to swim too far, and if you swim, then our next game guide will help you.

A guide to the meadows, the Black Forest and the swamp in Valheim?

Your journey will begin in the Meadows, and this is probably where you want to build your house and hearth. As long as you don't have a bow and leather armor, it's recommended to stay here and not go too far outside. Experiment with things, learn to fight, run, block and all that. Experiment with building and make sure you have a nice house with a bed and a decent supply of food. At this point, take your bow and 200+ wooden arrows and fight the first boss. All that is required for this is to go to the altar and sacrifice 2 deer (in any case, this will not be useful until this point).

After defeating the boss, you will have the materials to craft your first pickaxe. This will draw you to the Black Forest so you can use it effectively.

When you have a pickaxe, you are ready for the Black Forest. You'll also want to get a club and shield for the dungeons you need to go into, as the enemies there are weak to deal blunt damage and the dungeons are very cramped for using a bow. To smelt ore and produce charcoal, you will need Sertling Cores, and they are found in the indicated dungeons. They are usually guarded by skeletons, so they are relatively easy to find. The only other dungeon you can find is the troll cave, which is not recommended to enter so early.

Sertlings themselves can be found in the Swamp, so if you can't find Sertlings in the black forests near you, but you can find a swamp, this is an option, but not recommended.

If you have a smelter and possibly a furnace, you will be looking for tin and copper. Tin can be found on the banks of the Black Forest and is different from small stones. Copper is also found where stones would be, but instead of the huge stones you may have seen in the grasslands. Both can be distinguished visually, but the easiest way to determine this is to simply hover your mouse cursor over it and see if the name pops up.

When you've exhausted everything you want to do with tin, copper, and bronze and feel you're ready, you can move on to the second boss. It requires 8 Ancient Seeds and is similar in concept to an Ent or something. Once again a lot of arrows, good food, try. You will receive the Swamp Key after defeating the Elder, as well as his trophy and other power.

When you go to the swamp, it is recommended to take some honey with you to protect against poison, but this is not necessary. Leeches, Drops, and Wuzers can cause a Poison effect, which, barring high enough health, will usually kill you. But if you can prevent them from hitting you at all, you can't die from it if you never get hit.

Making your way through the swamp, you can see fiery geysers. Sertlings gather around them, killing them, coal and cores fall. If they enter the water, and sometimes by accident, it will kill them or at least severely injure them. Obviously fire damage is ineffective.

Otherwise, you'll basically want to bring along your bronze pickaxe and your swamp key. Look for slanted structures that appear to stick out of the ground, usually with two green torches in front, guarded by draugr, blobs, or slugs. Open the entrance with the swamp key, go in and dig through the dirty piles of scrap metal to find Scrap Metal. It can also be in stone chests inside. Smelt this to get Iron, and you only need a little to get a full set. It is recommended to have a ship or cart nearby to avoid taking too long a journey, but be careful they won't be destroyed during mining.

Once you've had some fun in the swamps and are ready to move on, you'll need 8 Withered Bones and hopefully find the location of the boss. Go there, having prepared honey for poison resistance, preferably at least two, as well as a blunt weapon and a shield. Skeletons and slimes are weak to blunt, and he's both. This boss is the easiest to parry, and the poison resistance will deal with his other attacks. Defeat him to get Wishbone and his trophy.
