The Survival Knife is the weapon you need if you want to keep yourself from being attacked or stolen by sea monkeys in Below Zero, and it's very easy to craft at the factory. To craft a Survival Knife in Below Zero, you will need 1x Silicon Rubber and 1x Titanium.
Silicone rubber is made from a fairly common creeping vine seed cluster that looks like this. Meanwhile. Titanium is also a fairly common resource in Below Zero and can be found in about half of the rocks that can be cut open, including limestone outcrops. Search the floors and walls for this resource and you'll probably be back at your escape pod at about five.
With these two resources, head to the Fabricator, then go to Personal > Tools and start crafting a survival knife that can be equipped in quick access slots. Keep in mind that this is only the starting weapon in Below Zero and is only useful for scaring off enemies and collecting samples. It deals only 20 damage, so you shouldn't rush at the leviathans.
