Xur is a Destiny 2 Exotic Gear Merchant. He appears every weekend to sell the game's most coveted items in exchange for Legendary Shards, but if you're a random player with limited shards. It can be difficult to know which of his products is the most worth your investment. Xur appears every Friday at 5:00 pm GMT (9:00 am PT) and will run until Tuesday. We'll update this guide shortly after he arrives, so if you're reading this you only need to read on to find out where he is and what the best items he has been selling this week. Starting with the Forsaken extension, the X appearsr icon no longer appears on your director, so tracking it down isn't as easy as it used to be. However, his appearances in EDZ, Titan, Nessus, Io, and The Tower have so far been in the same places he frequently visited in vanilla Destiny 2. So if you've followed Destiny 2 from the start, you don't have there should be no problem finding seller locations.
Xur is back on Titan in Riga this week. He sells:
1. Monte Carlo, exotic primary automatic rifle, for 29 Legendary Shards
2. Equipment of Orpheus, Exotic Hunter Leg Armor, for 23 Legendary Shards
3. Actium warhead, exotic Titanium chest armor, for 23 Legendary Shards
4. Verity's Lob, Sorcerer's Exotic Helmet, for 23 Legendary Shards
Monte Carlo has a Monte Carlo Method perk that allows weapon damage to reduce your melee cooldown. This then synergizes with the Markov Chain trait, which gives you increased weapon damage and a bonus after melee kills. It's a fantastic pick that can withstand a ridiculous amount of damage - well worth the shards. Once upon a time, the Orpheus Horn was the vehicle for the Night Catchers, and its legend continues. These boots will provide Ability Energy to every enemy tethered by your Shadowshot Super - so much energy, in fact, that they will frequently replenish the Super Meter, providing consistent Shadowshots as long as you have eight or so enemies to catch (and you usually did it)). This, in turn, made Nightstalkers an auto-pick class for most PvEs, as they could generate enough orbs to fill allies' super meters with ease. There have been nerves on the oil rig for a long time, but they are still worth it.
The Actium War Rig is a Titan chest that will feed ammo from your stockpiles to your magazine when firing an automatic rifle. Basically, this gives you a significantly larger automatic rifle magazine. All that extra uptime is useful for many raid encounters - pairing Sweet Business and Rally Barricade for the best results, and for knocking down enemies in PvE in general. Similar to the Knucklehead radar, it's hardly a flashy exotic - it looks a little bland too - but good. One of three exotic armor options offered to the Titans during the main story, and probably the best of them all. Recommended. Verity's Brow offers a fourth magic that boosts grenade charges for both you and your allies. It's great if the team player allows you and your grenade friends to spam whatever gets in your way - but you probably already knew that. Verity's Brow is your reward for completing the Warmind campaign, making it rather overkill as an Xur purchase if relevant even to the most basic content.
