In League of Legends, Mordekaiser has seen some changes over the past few years, including an attempt to turn him into an unconventional bot line leader, but he feels out of place.

The Mordekaiser League of Legends rework has been announced for a while, but now the developer has given us a first look at the champion's new features.

Mordekaiser League of Legends Rework

There are several notable changes to his kit, including his Ultimate Ability. His ability to summon ghost versions of the champions (or dragons) he helps kill will change.

The new Mordekaiser's Realm of Death ending allows him to take on the role of champion in single combat to the death, and it will be very interesting for players who prefer to showcase their solo prowess. The full list of new abilities is below:

Rise of Darkness (Passive)
Mordekaiser's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage. Darkrise deals damage to nearby enemies after three spells or attacks on a champion. It also gives movement speed until the Mordekaiser fails.

Zero (Q)
Mordekaiser deals additional damage to one enemy by hitting them with a mace.

Indestructible (W)
The Evil Overlord absorbs 25% of damage taken and damage dealt. A single cast creates a shield, while a second cast consumes 50% of the screen for health.

Death Grip (E)
Morde gains 25% increased Magic Penetration as a passive ability. Activating it pulls enemies towards you with a claw.

Death Realm (R)
Banish one enemy champion into the Realm of Death for 7 seconds one-on-one so you can steal a percentage of their primary stats. Killing an enemy will cause their soul to be consumed, keeping their partial stats until they rest.
