There have been a few iconic members of the Power Rangers team over the years, but a few great team members have not been given the credit they deserve.
When it comes to the Power Rangers series, Special Rangers and Red Rangers are in the spotlight. This is largely due to the fact that Special Rangers - the sixth Rangers or those who joined the team later - have more advanced energy sets than the rest of the team. This is also due to the fact that most of the Red Rangers are team leaders who have to learn a lesson throughout the series.
10. RJ (Jungle Fury)
The franchise's first Purple Ranger, RJ seems to be a rather laid back guy. He may run his own business, but he always seems to have room for fun. Also, he is initially more of a mentor than a Power Ranger.
Although RJ has a wolf spirit (and an unbreakable bond with it), he spends a lot of time giving advice to the main Rangers team and joining them in the fight when they need help. His advice is very helpful, as he is proficient in many different fighting styles and knows exactly who to turn to if he doesn't need advice.
9. Kira (Dino Thunder)
With the voice of an angel, Kira becomes a professional singer in a future where Power Rangers: SPD exists. However, as a Power Ranger, Kira's scream has great power.
Her special power gives her an edge over some of the villains created by Mesogog, but she is underestimated not for her performance in her own series, but for her performance in others. She competed in two different crossovers, which is rare for non-Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Kira assisted the Operation Overdrive and SPD teams on difficult missions.
8. Emma (Megaforce)
For some fans, the Power Rangers Megaforce season has been a little disappointing. Although the Rangers on the team were able to use the abilities of all the Rangers that came before them, not all fans liked that the main team also seemed to be inspired by the previous Rangers.
In particular, Emma had a lot in common with the Pink Rangers who came before her. She sings, loves animals and is unfailingly kind. Some fans may mistake this kindness for weakness. However, Emma's kindness affects how she fights. She wants everyone to have a chance at a better life and strives to give everyone an edge. That is why she works so hard for her team.
7. TJ (Turbo, In Space)
Unlike most other rangers, TJ is a red ranger - for a while. In Power Rangers Turbo, he becomes the leader of the team. TJ does his best to keep his team alive, even when it seems like their world is coming to an end. Together with his friends, he decides to go into space to find the missing Zordon.
Of course, TJ relieves himself of the authority of the team leader when the group is in space. Andros takes charge, giving the group new morphers when their old ones proved useless. TJ takes a step back as he is no longer the decision maker, but he never lets his teammates down.
6. Bridge (SPD)
Power Rangers SPD is very different from other series in the franchise. First, the Rangers are a law enforcement group, not secret superheroes. On the other hand, the colors represent their rank in the team.
Over the course of the series, Bridge progresses from Green Ranger to Blue Ranger, proving his ability to analyze to the team. At the end of the series, he becomes the Red Ranger and appears in the Operation Overdrive crossover alongside Kira helping the other team.
5Xander (Mystic Force)
Xander can win the Power Ranger award for the biggest rise in the franchise - but not when he literally grows into a tree. When he first starts out as a ranger, Xander believes he can be charming enough to avoid any repercussions. This is definitely not the case, and this has gotten him into trouble more than once.
He eventually learns to accept his mistakes and acknowledge his wrongdoings rather than trying to cover them up. Like Bridge, he goes to help fellow Rangers in the same crossover episode, but he also finds development in his civilian life, becoming the manager of the shop where he works.
4. Alyssa (Wild Force)
Alyssa is something of a renaissance woman and she doesn't get enough credit for all the things she can do in Power Rangers Wild Force. Like Emma, she is a gentle soul. She often acts as an intermediary when team members cannot see each other. But that's not all.
Her fighting skills are not only the result of her becoming a Power Ranger. Before she became the White Ranger, her father taught her various martial arts. In addition, during her time on the team, she has managed to get close to three different Zords and acts as their medic.
3. Cassie (Turbo, In Space)
When Cassie becomes the Pink Ranger, she breaks her routine. She is more radical than Kimberly and Kat, two young women who came before her. Cassie is more of a rebel than they are, though she still has a thing for animals.
Cassie replaces Kat at Power Rangers Turbo after helping rescue people in a crisis. She, like TJ, decides to go into space with the rest of the team in search of Zordon. In addition, she even teams up with the Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy team in an attempt to take on the psychopathic Pink Ranger. She loses this battle, but still desperately tries to help them.
2. Adam (Mighty Morphin, Zeo, Turbo)
Of all the underrated Rangers, Adam is the most titled. Like Cassie and T.J. in subsequent seasons, he is chosen to replace the current ranger because he shows a commitment to helping people in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. At first, Adam is quiet and withdrawn, content to watch and help, but in Power Rangers Zeo, he breaks out of his shell.
Adam transforms from a quiet guy in the back to second in command of Tommy's team. He continues to learn new martial arts skills even as he becomes a ranger for the third time. Adam also returns to mentor his own replacement for several episodes, and appears in several crossovers. He never ceases to be a ranger that other rangers can turn to for help.
1. Tanya (Zeo, Turbo)
Tanya joins the Zeo team just as it is being formed, bringing one of Zeo's crystal pieces to the group in place of the departing ranger. After spending her formative years in a small village, she must not only adapt to her role as a superhero, but also to life in a big city with an entirely new social structure.
Tanya is very adaptable. She also sings, dances and plays almost any sport. It's amazing that she finds time for all this and remains a ranger in two different teams. She is a fan favorite who doesn't always get recognition for her abilities. As a teenager, she even solves clues to find her missing parents.
