The Enderman Farm is the best in Minecraft for XP mining. An enderman drops about five XP projectiles when killed by a player, which is one of the highest rates in the game.

The amount of XP dropped and the effectiveness of Enderman farms are why many players consider them the best for late game XP. In this article, we will talk about the endermen farm in Minecraft and how to build it.

How to build an enderman farm in Minecraft

Step 1: Collect the necessary resources

  • 9 stacks of leaves
  • 20 ender pearls
  • 24 carpet
  • 8 fence
  • 12 stove
  • 4 rail
  • 1 minemap
  • 6 bunker
  • 2 chest
  • 6 torch
  • a bucket of water
  • 2 stacks of cobblestone
  • Sword and armor
  • Recommended elytra

Step 2: Start building a farm

Players will need to place a bucket of water on the edge of the end island and use leaves or cobblestone to push the water down to level 0.

Players will then need to construct a building about 200 blocks away from the end island. This will allow players to maximize the number of enderman spawns, making the farm more efficient.

At the end of a line of 200 blocks, players will have to create a platform that looks like the one in the picture above. The platform is approximately 21x14 in size. Players also need to make sure that the torches are placed in the center on the cobblestone.

Players will now need to go back 18 blocks using leaves and start creating a platform as shown in the picture above. The stairs shown in the video are three blocks high and the cobblestone platform is 3x2 with bunkers stacking in a chest in front of it.

Next, the players have to build three layers of leaves and a carpet to match the picture shown above. The traps should be placed at the top of the stairs, as shown in the picture above.

Finally, players will now need to spawn an endermite with an ender pearl and place it in the minecart as shown. Players can then remove the torches on the cobbled part of the platform and the endermites will spawn and run into the grind area, as they are hostile to the endermites. Players also need to make sure the endermite is protected, because sometimes an enderman can kill it if it's not positioned correctly.

The end result should look something like this. Players will be able to get more than enough XP to enchant or repair anything in their Minecraft survival worlds.

The farm featured in this article was made by a YouTuber named Kelp.
