Genshin Impact has taken the world by storm and now, with four significant updates, fans are already eagerly awaiting Update 1.5.
MiHoYo prepares for content to continue to evolve.
Update 1.5 includes new characters entering the battle, as well as new events and, possibly, the opening of a certain section of the map!
Details in detail about major update 1.5 in Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact 1.5 Release Date
The Genshin Impact version 1.5 update is scheduled for April 28, 2021. This is subject to change, but according to the official miHoYo announcement from the production group, they are trying to arrange an agreed update schedule every six weeks.
Anything beyond 1.3, however, is purely speculation based on a six week update period. MiHoYo is due to release a new roadmap after 1.3 is released, but whether they will or not are rumors.
Update version 1.5 - scheduled for April 28, 2021
Update version 1.6 - scheduled for June 9, 2021
Version 1.7 update - scheduled for Jul 21, 2021
Rumor has it that version 1.5 will introduce a new section of the map, but this is not the Abyss or Inazuma, but it should be about the same size as Dragonspine.
Leaks
Remember to be suspicious of everything, even if it might be 1.5 beta, that doesn't mean it will be released for the 1.5 official release.
New characters
Eula
Five Star Cryoclaymore User
〈Knight of Spindrift, descendant of the old aristocracy and captain of the reconnaissance company of the Knights of Favonius.
The reason why a descendant of the ancient nobility could have joined the knights remains a great mystery in Mondstadt to this day.〉
Yan Fei
Four Star Pyrocatalyst User
Originally named "Fei Yan" in her character files, Yan Fei is an eccentrically dressed character who should be released around the same time as Eula.
As a four-star character, Yang Fei will be much easier to obtain than her cryo counterpart.
Construction / Housing
Housing will be a big part of 1.5 if the beta stays true.
Your house is not part of the map, instead you will be in your own instance, like a Domain.
It could also be related to the new Serenitea Pot gadget. The companion bird is part of the housing system and can emerge from this pot to transport you to your home and back to Teivat.
Of course, there will also be a housing store where furniture can be bought for another currency. There will also be three background settings for your home.
- Tropical island background
- Floating island background
- Mountain background
There will undoubtedly be more available in the future, but in 1.5 you will have three to choose from.
New boss
Cryohypostasis
Cryo Hypostasis is a new boss very similar to other Hypostasis bosses. Cryo and Pyro are the only ones besides Dendro that don't have a cube boss you can fight with.
Now in 1.5 you can do this, and if you are after using the new five-star character Eula, you may need to farm this boss as he can give a new Ascension material called Crystalline Boom.
New weekly / world boss
We're not sure if Ajadha will become the new World Boss or the Weekly Boss, so for now, we'll be merging them.
This new boss should be part of Zhongli's second character quest, which means one of the upcoming banners in 1.5 could be Zhongli's re-launch with Yanfei as the four-star character.
Azhadha will potentially drop two new materials: Dragon Lord's Crown and Blood Jade Branch. They are necessary for the ascension of both Yula and Yanfei.
New gadget
Version 1.5 may have a new gadget called "Conversion Gadget" called Dream Solvent.
This can convert the boss materials to another of the same boss materials. So if you have Dwalin's Feather but need Dwalin's Claw, you can use the Dream Thinner.
New hangout events
Hangout Events was a new addition to version 1.4, featuring select characters that you could more or less date out with to get to know them better, as they have not received much attention in the game yet.
While the characters you can hang out with have not been revealed, miHoYo said Hangout events will not be one-off and will reappear in new updates.
Cracked fruit
These are kind of buffs, but we have no idea if they are attached to the character in any way so that they can receive the buff as well. Or if you can use them as an object, for example, for food, or pick them up from the ground.
An example of one of these is called Galespring.
Galespring
When a character's shock attack hits an opponent, it generates elemental particles, which regenerate six units of energy, and an anemic amber, which generates a stream of wind. This effect can occur once every eight seconds, and this cooldown is shared among all characters in the party.
At the moment, this is all information leaked, rumors about the upcoming 1.5 update in Genshin Impact. If you have something to add, feel free to write a comment below.
