While the 2nd factions are rapidly moving towards a head-on collision, the soul of the world is tormented by a terrible wound. This is not only one, and probably not the most frightening risk, as long as there are those who only benefit from the disorder reigning in the universe. Today we are trying to understand what is what the black whisper of the servants of the Old Gods, sorting out the concepts and figuring out why you should not trust the voices in your head and where walks on the islands can lead. Warning: the article has small (popular to everyone) spoilers from Battle for Azeroth, and similarly from the third volume of "Chronicles" (for those who wish to inquire with the book without the help of others). In fact, you cannot envy these guys: who would not become a crazy herald of rock, seeing so many dying and resurrecting naked heroes ?! It's not their fault that the flyer-gathering achievement was bugged! One of the main revelations for the content of Warcraft in the first volume of the Chronicles was the proof of this that the Burning Legion was far from one universal power, malevolent to the inhabitants of Azeroth; for the first time, the Lords of the Abyss were correctly portrayed as perhaps an even greater danger that even Sargeras himself feared in the popular lineage. After a certain number of weeks, the Legion update was released, during which there was no need for extraordinary observation in order to understand what's what, that the creators began to intensively prepare us for the next appearance of this old newest enemy in the near future. Almost all gamers were waiting for this already in the next update, and they should not despair, since there is every reason to believe that the latest incident of the factions can only bring closer and worsen their fall under the onslaught of black forces. Let's take a closer look at what we have already had time to tell and what vector the events in the upcoming can approve.

The first notices of danger began to distribute even the messengers of doom during the Legion patch, and, however, most of their leaflets were devoted to demons and advertising of goblin products, one of them was sharply distinguished by overstated mystery and references to Howard Lovecraft: “The eyeless wriggling serpent looks at the whole world from the immense sky. Forked tongues peep out of the dark hollows of dead stars. The veil between sleep and sleeper will fall, as if skin from bones. And even the haze begs for the light, which she despised not so long ago. As we see, almost all the arguments that had been encountered before in the same puzzle of Yogg-Saron were repeated, but nothing concrete about the reason for the message can be announced (except perhaps a hint of the Emerald Horror). For us, this is not fundamentally this, but the fact that the image of puzzles and ambiguous hints taken here will then be widely used to reveal this topic. Cosplaying this young man is much easier than it might seem at first glance: a couple of sleepless raid nights - and a sinister reddish tint for your eyes! Initially, Il'ginot was lucky to puzzle gamers in all seriousness, whose quotes have already spread very extensively, to literally cite them here. The main thing that united all his "prophecies" was the seemingly elementary interpretation, behind which was simply a crazy variability of interpretations, which in turn led to doubts about the truth of everything that was said. Take the same "boy-king, serving at the master's table" - whoever has not tried for this significance, and when the trivial candidacies of Anduin and Bolvar quickly become boring, send very unexpected heroes into the course (and in the power to assure you that in Battle for Azeroth we waiting for even more exciting candidates)! In the process itself, at the moment, it is actually already clear that it is obvious that it is not worth believing in the literal truth of the black whisper of this ringleader, and in other words, there are a number of circumstances. The first of these lies in the context of the video game world and has been meticulously revealed in the audio drama A Thousand Years of War, where the Wanderer explains to Alleria Windrunner how the Illumination and the Abyss relate to fate and what is to come. If the 1st sees an exceptional route that he considers to be real, then the 2nd sees a large number of often mutually exclusive abilities, clinging to everything that can guarantee her superiority. In other words, the prophets from the creatures of the Abyss turn out to be such themselves, and if mortals turn out to be powerful enough in spirit not to believe in the visions of the apocalypse, but to resist those who, with their own whispers, try to interest them on their own side, this whisper remains a whisper. The future, which sees the Abyss, carries a self-fulfilling disposition, and Il'gynoth's phrases are aimed at disorienting the characters of Azeroth, sowing hesitation in their souls in their own favorites and allies. Still, it might seem that virtually all the important faction favorites, if not the very soul of the world, have long been present under the rule of the Old Gods! Another justification for the dubiousness of the whisper is easy to obtain by looking at everything through the eyes of the creators: of course, their plan can boil down to something pleasing, not counting the story of a future series of deaths and betrayals in a straightforward word a couple of years before these incidents. We are playing a long video game with us, and Blizzard is not shy about teasing gamers with thick hints like the recent remark by Alleria, who feels like she’s already died twice. Nevertheless, in practice, believing such “clues” is probably a less successful method of guessing what you really mean.

Ogmot looks at you as the characters of Azeroth who defeated the Legion and came to knock out the twilight silk from it for the dwarf hiding in the closet. The development of the puzzle theme followed already at the end of the update, this time in the form of a diary of the prestigious mad ogre from Silithus. The blow of the blade of Sargeras led to a sharp activation of the servants of the Old Gods in the faces of cultists and silithids, and in Ogmot's magazine we find the development of motives and allegories that Il'ginoth had previously used. In the same way, they mean at once and quite a lot, and nothing - for example, almost all important ladies' heroes can approach the significance of a lady's figure, with a laugh leading the sheep to a cliff. Another thing that is worth paying attention to here is that in the predictions of the servants of the Old Gods, not only hints of heroes are repeated, but also indications of things that we had no idea about or at which we did not look from that angle. These include innumerable indications of some great revolution, or a circle suitable for ending; this echoes the prescription “to drown in the circle of stars” in order to find someone (possibly N'Zoth), and similarly to the phrase of Xal'atat (about which the conversation is still ahead) about the unimaginable cosmic confrontation that has been going on for millennia, about “those who was before the draenei ”, about the next thing that not everyone tells mortals about the naaru. It is worth believing all this or not - the question is open, since it can be anything pleasing - from an ordinary deceptive whisper to the real existence of regularities still unnamed to us. As the closest analogy, here the turn of the xel'naga rebirth suggests itself, which we found out about in Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void, this time in the form of cyclical skirmishes between the Light and the Abyss - no wonder the question of their relationship was only very approximately and metaphorically outlined in the Chronicle ".Does mortals expect to take the road of universal forces willing to manipulate them to defend their own right to life and freedom? It is impossible to announce anything concrete at the moment - probably, all this has a much more moderate size or, in general, some other plan - but in the future we should definitely expect the most detailed narration about the sides of the never-ending incident.

If this incomprehensible something was really killed by the brothers, having stuffed it into a luminous knife, then Mrs. Ksal'atat's perverted sense of humor can really be understood! After all, Xal'atat. The Dark Priests in Legion have improved their own Abyssal mysticism well, even by learning to understand shat'yar, the language of the faceless. This made it possible to translate some previously inexplicable words, nevertheless, the artifact dagger told much more in pure universal. Its origin also remains a puzzle - here it should be noted that pictures from the third volume of "Chronicles" added a lot of points to the version about the 5th Old God, destroyed by his brothers - and clear arguments, possibilities and intentions of this essence. It can be imagined that the priest of Darkness was able to bring Xal'atat through the entire update only because she allowed him to do it, since the dagger simply evaporated from the past owners at the most undesirable moment in time. The blade told its owner almost everything about the past and the likely future, like a warning about the next one that N'Zoth's dungeon will quickly weaken and that he is close to success, finding himself the most cunning and patient. One of the extreme remarks of Ksal'atat sounds even more alarming - in the Throne of the Pantheon she triumphed that the priest had unwittingly opened the desired route to this place to her relatives. At the end of the update, all that remains is to ask questions, will we still notice the dagger - and is this essence really tied to the weapon, as it might seem at first glance? Some people imply that Ksal'atat is mentioned in Ogmot's magazine, however, based on the beliefs of the chronology, this is doubtful. But can a dagger try to find another comfortable wearer, or even find a new body? You can become confident only in the first: if this essence is really considered the Old God, then even how much agreeably shy in size, the physical shell will not be able to weaken its innate unlimited anger and deceit.

If you try, it can accommodate the continent for one more update. In fact, the question is not about the next, whether the Ancient Gods will try to establish their superiority again, but about the next, when exactly, where and how this will happen. Blizzard is talking about this in almost straightforward words, and if you look at the PvE content of Battle for Azeroth, the roots (read: probes with suction cups) of many of our enemies are growing from the same place. It is possible that N'Zot has long been building conspiracies about which we do not even have information, and the ability of a coordinated attack by K'Tun and Yogg-Saron, the position of which later on the respective raids is not clear until the end, cannot be ruled out either. The dungeon of N'Zoth (it may be considered Ny'alotha, however, this word is obviously not from the language of the servants of the Titans, so it may be a different name or a completely different site) must be located west of the coast of the Eastern Kingdoms, in an unsafe proximity to the island territories in which gamers will wander in order for the 2nd update. Will the heroes need to descend into the bowels of the ocean, or the newest peninsula will rise out of the water as the next epic allusion to Lovecraft - there can be many alternatives, but knowing Blizzard's dislike for the underwater locations after Vashj'ir, one can only guess how the promised raid with Azshara either update mostly. That all the same affects the general content of the update, it is easy to suspect that a greater contribution to the success of the plans of the forces of the Abyss will bring gaming factions, ready to organize an unprecedented incident for control of the suffering planet. We have already seen how the silithids rapidly activated and strengthened after the strike of Sargeras, and Azerite is a very valuable resource to become ignored by any of the most or the least noticeable international power. Even more can be gleaned from the third volume of the Chronicles, where the story of the Old Gods' efforts to liberate themselves reports a primitive thought: the small incidents and unrest they quietly stirred up all over the world (like, in fact, Orava's invasion of the First Battle, let the ogres and then they carried out the project of the Legion - the rival of the Abyss), amused them not only in the power of the inherent destructive nature, but also therefore, that they distracted attention from their plans to recruit followers and their liberation. A war of factions is not good, a war of factions on a wounded society, on the soul of which someone's probes with suction cups are scratching - doubly bad. And it seems that the Union and the Horde at the moment did not revel in pride for themselves and anger towards the rival, they cannot even imagine the consequences to which their recklessness can lead.
