The Festivale event for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is over, and players will want to check out this guide to quickly collect colorful feathers.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the latest in Nintendo's life simulation series. Part of the appeal for players is that they log into the game over the course of several weeks to try out new activities or interact with the townspeople. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has upped the ante when it comes to scheduled events with unique rewards. The Festivale update is currently out now, so check out this guide to quickly find pavé feathers.

The signature peacock first appeared in Animal Crossing: City Folk back in 2008. Since then, Pave has appeared in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Festivale event. As with other seasonal events, players can receive special rewards for delivering an event NPC resource. In this case, fans will need to bring different colored feathers to Pava in order to receive festival items.

If you have trouble finding feathers in the wild, try talking to the villagers in the city. Sometimes townspeople will be willing to exchange the feathers they collect. Also, talk to the peacock for a rainbow feather recipe that allows you to create New Horizons' most coveted DIY pavé. While this requires one feather of each color, use the trading system to get only the ones needed for that type of rainbow. Gathering groups of three, they can be given to Pava for one of the 9 available festival items. It should be noted that the item will be the same color as the stack of peacock feathers.

Fans looking to get through the event quickly will need to collect all of the items before accessing the festival. The collection includes things like a flag, a confetti machine and special lamps. Once the chopping is complete, it's time to grab the last piece. Up to this point, the player has wanted to accumulate rainbow feathers. Collecting nine of them and giving them to Pava will earn you a float. Players can then open up their islands to dream visits to showcase the colorful flair of the festival items.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now on Nintendo Switch.
