In this guide, we will tell you everything you need to know about the classic leatherworking skill and their levels in World of Warcraft.

How to level up the World of Warcraft Classic Leatherworking profession?

Basic requirements (conditions)

Necessary actions + result

Skin as a secondary skill. This will allow you to level up even faster and cheaper. However, the location where you get your leatherworking skill will change depending on the class of the character.

Orc/Troll: Orgrimmar
Undead: Undercity
Tauren: Thunder Bluff
Human: Stormwind
Gnome / Dwarf: Ironforge
Night Elf: Darnassus

Leatherworking levels

Each level requires you to complete certain tasks. These tasks can be completed anywhere in the game. You can find the requirements for all of these tasks in the list below:

Level 1-20 WoW Classic Leatherworking

Make sure skinning is a secondary activity in the game. For these levels, you will need 60 Leather Scraps and craft 20 Light Leather items.

Level 20-30.

You will need 10 Light Leather and 10 Light Armor to level up in these areas.

Level 30-50.

You will need 40 fine leather and 20 coarse thread. After that, make 20 hand-sewn leather belts.

Level 50-55.

Make sure you have 30 fine leather and 5 coarse threads. Use this to make 5 Handmade Leather Belts. Also, learn the Journeyman Leatherworking skill in World of Warcraft (WoW) Classic.

Level 55-85.

Make sure you have 90 Light Leather and 30 Coarse Thread. You will need to craft 30 Embossed Leather Gloves out of it.

Level 85-100.

You will need 15 thin leather straps, 90 fine leather straps, and 30 coarse thread.

Level 100-115.

To level up those 15 levels, you'll need 60 Medium Leather, which in turn will net you 15 Medium Leather sets.

Level 115-130.

Make sure you have at least 60 Medium Leather, 30 Fine Thread, and 15 Gray Dye. From this you will be able to get 15 Dark Leather Boots.

Level 130-145.

Make sure you have 15 Fine Leather Belts, 15 Cured Medium Hide, 30 Fine Thread, and 15 Gray Dye. Use this to make 15 Dark Leather Belt.

Level 145-150.

You will need to learn Expert Leatherworking and get 70 Medium Leather along with 20 Fine Thread. You will then need to craft 5 Highlander Leather Gloves.

Level 150-160.

Make sure you have 10 heavy hides. You will need to craft 10 Cured Heavy Hides.

Level 160-170.

Make sure you have 50 thick leather. From this you will need to make 10 sets of heavy armor.

Level 170-180.

You will need 120 thick leather items and 20 rolls of silk cloth. You will need to craft 10 Guardian Pants from this.

Level 180-190.

You should have 80 Thick Leather, 10 Cured Thick Hide, and 20 Fine Thread in your inventory. From this you can get 10 Barbarian Shoulders.

Level 190-195.

You will need 80 Thick Leather. From this you will need to make 5 Dark Bracers.

Level 195-205.

In order to climb these 10 levels, you will need to learn Leatherworking in WoW Classic. Make sure you have at least 100 Thick Leather, 20 Bolts of Silk Cloth, and 10 Iron Buckles.

Level 205-235.

For these levels, make sure you have 175 Thick Leather and 70 Silk Thread. Use these items to make 35 nightscape headbands.

Level 235-250.

You will need 210 thick leather and 60 silk thread. Of these, you will need to make 15 nightscape pants in the game.

Level 250-265.

You will need 100 Rugged Leather Scraps, which will be used to craft 20 Rugged Leather Armor Sets.

265-290 level.

Make sure you have at least 200 Rugged Leather, 25 Black Dye, and 25 Rune Thread. You will need to craft 25 Evil Leather Bracelets out of this.

Level 290-300 WoW Classic Leatherworking

Make sure you have 120 Rugged Leather, 10 Black Dye and 10 Rune Thread. From this you will need to make 10 evil leather headbands.

Some tips + tricks

Make sure you have skinning as a secondary skill. This will just make it easier for you to get resources in the game. It will also make it much cheaper for you to level up. Another helpful tip is to keep the items you create in your inventory. You will need some of them in future game recipes. So stick to the max and don't sell them.
